The posting

Popbee is a Traditional Chinese-language contemporary-culture media brand for women across Asia. Through news, features, visual storytelling, and live events, Popbee covers fashion, beauty and lifestyle, bringing global and Asian trends closer to everyday life with a distinct regional perspective.

Popbee Circle is Popbee's membership community, connecting our readers with monthly workshops, member events and exclusive partner perks. We are hiring a Senior Marketing Executive to grow and retain the Circle member base, owning everything from acquisition funnels and loyalty mechanics to events, community content and CRM. You will work closely with the Editorial, Video, Sales and IT teams, and help turn community engagement into commercial products for brand partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute multi-channel acquisition campaigns across web, app, social and offline touchpoints to grow the Popbee Circle member base, with a focus on lifestyle, sports, wellness and Gen Z audiences.
  • Build and optimise conversion funnels across workshops, offline activations and digital giveaways that turn casual readers into registered members.
  • Manage the Popbee Circle loyalty programme, including reward structures, points redemption and exclusive member perks, to drive retention and long-term advocacy.
  • Run end-to-end production for monthly workshops, member events and community activations, covering venue sourcing, vendor management, budget tracking, pre-event promotion and on-site execution.
  • Lead execution of co-branded and sponsored partner activations, including attendee check-in, QR code scanning workflows and CRM lead capture.
  • Curate and publish community-first social and editorial content with the Editorial team; manage publishing schedules, visual standards and engagement performance across Instagram, Threads, Rednote and the weekly community newsletter.
  • Partner with the Sales team to package and co-pitch community products, bespoke event activations and sponsorship decks to clients.
  • Negotiate, secure and maintain brand partner promo codes, discounts and member perks to keep the Circle offer valuable for members.
  • Work with the IT team to scope and roll out feature improvements across Popbee.com and the Popbee App, including polling, giveaway modules and member onboarding flows.
  • Track user journeys, in-app actions and web conversions through Hex dashboards; use AI tools such as Claude to analyse retention and campaign performance, and maintain segmented subscriber and event participant lists in the CRM.

Requirements:

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in digital marketing, community management, CRM or experiential events, ideally within media, fashion or lifestyle.
  • Track record of running offline events end to end, from vendor and budget management to on-site delivery, alongside a multi-channel content calendar.
  • Hands-on experience managing Instagram, Threads, Rednote and email newsletters.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics 4, CRM automation and email marketing platforms; experience with Hex or similar dashboard tools is a plus.
  • Proficient in Canva or Photoshop, and comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day analysis and content work.
  • Experience with loyalty, membership or rewards programmes is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence managing brand partners and working across Editorial, Sales and IT teams.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese, written and spoken; Mandarin is a plus.
  • Able to work evenings and weekends for events when required.
  • Genuine interest in women's lifestyle, beauty and fashion culture, and in the Popbee community.
  • Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Marketing Executive.

If you think you’ve got what it takes, please provide your cover letter, CV, portfolio and expected salary.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
