The posting

Our client is a next-generation Layer 1 blockchain building scalable infrastructure for tokenised real-world assets (RWA) and on-chain financial products. They are expanding their institutional business development team to drive capital formation, ecosystem adoption, and total value locked (TVL) growth. Role Overview

We are seeking a Head of BD professional to drive institutional adoption of on-chain financial products and tokenised RWA offerings. You will be responsible for building relationships with institutional investors, originating capital opportunities, and growing ecosystem TVL by bringing new capital and strategic partners into the network.

Responsibilities

  • Institutional sales:Distribute on-chain vault products and tokenised RWA offerings to HNWIs, family offices, institutional investors, private banks, and crypto funds.
  • Capital formation:Build, manage, and grow a pipeline of institutional investors from initial introductions through capital deployment and repeat investments.
  • Investment advisory:Present vault structures, yield strategies, risk profiles, liquidity terms, and on-chain settlement processes to sophisticated investors.
  • Ecosystem growth:Drive ecosystem TVL growth through direct sales, strategic partnerships, referrals, and institutional capital formation.
  • Relationship management:Develop long-term relationships with LPs and investors while supporting ongoing communications and post-investment engagement.
  • Cross-functional collaboration:Partner with Product, Operations, and Ecosystem teams to support investor onboarding, reporting, and ongoing client success.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in investment sales, capital raising, institutional business development, or private banking within traditional finance or the crypto industry.
  • An established network across HNWIs, family offices, private banks, institutional allocators, or crypto investment funds.
  • Proven track record of raising institutional capital or selling investment products.
  • Strong understanding of yield products, fixed income, funds, structured investments, or alternative investment products.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented with the ability to work independently.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience selling DeFi, tokenised RWA, or other on-chain financial products.
  • Familiarity with blockchain, digital assets, DeFi protocols, and crypto capital markets.
  • Existing relationships with institutional investors across the US, Europe, or Greater China.
  • Experience contributing to ecosystem growth initiatives, including increasing protocol adoption and TVL.
