Je biedt kinderopvang aan in ’t Speelnestje in Wachtebeke, onder een aantrekkelijk sociaal statuut. Je werkt samen met collega’s en vangt kinderen van 0 tot 2,5 jaar op in gezellige omgeving van de groepsopvang ‘t Speelnestje. Als onthaalouder kom je bij i-mens terecht in een warme zorgorganisatie, die de krachten bundelt om de uitdagingen van de toekomst tegemoet te gaan. Bij i-mens staat de mens centraal en doen we alles voor de beste zorg en opvang.Wat ga je doen?Als onthaalouder vang je samen met 2 collega’s kinderen op, verzorg je hen en bied je een uitdagende, stimulerende omgeving aan. Je doet dit in samenwerking met ouders, collega’s en externen rekening houdend met de diversiteit in de samenleving met als doel kinderen in hun algemene ontwikkeling te stimuleren en de ouders te ondersteunen. Je zorgt hierbij voor veiligheid, zekerheid en geborgenheid zodat de kinderen zich goed voelen in de opvang.Een job als onthaalouder kent veel variatie, je kan bovendien eigen keuzes maken. Een voorbeeld zijn de dagelijkse spelactiviteiten die je zelf bedenkt, uitwerkt en begeleidt. Belangrijk is een goed evenwicht tussen spelmomenten, verzorgingsmomenten, rustmomenten en eetmomenten.Als onthaalouder:

  • Ga je op een positieve, opbouwende manier om met alle kinderen, ouders, collega’s en anderen;
  • observeer je het gedrag van de kinderen, individueel en in groep, reflecteer je hierover en stem je je handelen hierop af;
  • stimuleer je elk kind in zijn ontwikkeling, je gaat uit van zijn talenten en ondernemingszin;
  • ondersteun je de kinderen bij alle activiteiten;
  • stimuleer je positieve contacten tussen kinderen onderling en stel je grenzen;
  • herken je de sociaal-emotionele behoeften van de kinderen en speel je hierop in;
  • zorg je voor een stimulerende, veilige, hygiënische en gezonde speelomgeving voor baby’s en peuters;
  • werk je samen met ouders en erken je hen als eerste opvoeder;
  • werk je samen met anderen in functie van de opvang van het kind;
  • werk je samen, geef je feedback en maak je afspraken;
  • reflecteer je over de werking en draag je bij tot het verbeteren van de kinderopvang;
  • begeleid je ieder kind bij hun aankomst- en afhaalmoment;
  • bereid je baby- en peutermaaltijden, organiseer en begeleid je eetmomenten;
  • organiseer je rust- en bewegingsmomenten;
  • verzorg je elk kind in functie van zijn behoeften.
  • geniet van het verzorgen en vertroetelen van kinderen;
  • rustig en geduldig kan blijven bij huilende baby’s en ondeugende peuters;
  • kinderen wil begeleiden bij hun eerste stapjes in het leven;
  • sociaal vaardig en open ingesteld is?
  • Woont in Wachtebeke of ruimere omgeving
  • minstens beschikt over een basiskennis Nederlands
  • minstens 18 jaar oud is en bekwaam is om kinderen op te vangen
  • beschikt over of bereid bent om vóór opstart de volgende attesten te behalen: Attest van de module 'kennismaken met gezinsopvang' (20u) Attest van de module 'werken in de kinderopvang' (20u) - inclusief attest levensreddend handelen bij kinderen De nodige kwalificatie (zie: https://www.kindengezin.be/img/kwalificaties-attesten.pdf). Indien je niet over het juiste diploma of kwalificatie beschikt, dan word je hierin begeleid door één van onze mentoren.
