WAAROM DEZE ROL BELANGRIJK IS

Als Manager Finance & Control speel je een sleutelrol in hoe we als organisatie financieel sturen. Of het nu gaat om het strak regelen van de maandafsluiting, het voorbereiden van de audit of het geven van financiële input bij grote interne projecten - jij zorgt voor structuur, overzicht en grip.

Je stuurt een team aan van 7-8 medewerkers en zorgt dat onze financiële processen kloppen en inzicht geven. Je werkt nauw samen met de CFO en vertaalt complexe cijfers naar heldere adviezen waar de hele organisatie mee vooruit kan.

Dit is een rol voor iemand die graag de handen uit de mouwen steekt, scherp is op details én graag meedenkt op strategisch niveau.

WAT JE GAAT DOEN

- Team management: Je geeft leiding aan 7-8 collega’s binnen finance (accounting, controlling en tax).

- Maandafsluiting: Je coördineert het maandafsluitproces en zorgt dat alles op tijd en kloppend wordt opgeleverd.

- Rapportages: Je stelt maandelijkse rapportages op voor het MT en de aandeelhouder.

- Audits: Je bent het aanspreekpunt voor de externe accountant en regelt alles rondom de jaarcontrole.

- Budgettering en forecasting: Je stelt budgetten op, houdt de voortgang goed in de gaten en geeft het aan als er bijgestuurd moet worden.

- Aangiftes: Je reviewt en/of stelt diverse aangiften op, zoals btw-, ICP-, VPB- en CBS-aangiften, en zorgt dat alles correct en op tijd wordt ingediend.

- Payroll: Samen met HR zorg je voor een correcte salarisadministratie.

- Cashmanagement: Je houdt het overzicht op de dagelijkse geldstromen en zorgt dat betaalbatches en leveranciersbetalingen soepel verlopen.

- Processen: Je denkt actief mee over hoe we finance slimmer en efficiënter kunnen organiseren.

- Samenwerking: Je werkt nauw samen met teams als Sales, Operations, Tech en Product om hen te ondersteunen met financiële inzichten.

- Interne controle: Je verbetert onze administratieve processen en zorgt dat alles goed geborgd is (AO/IB).

- ERP-implementatie: Je support de finance-stroom binnen de implementatie van ons nieuwe ERP-systeem (NetSuite), waarbij je ook meewerkt aan het volledig opnieuw inrichten van het datawarehouse.

HOE SUCCES ERUITZIET IN JE EERSTE JAAR

- Je team draait zelfstandig en met vertrouwen

- Rapportages zijn op tijd, kloppend en klaar voor de aandeelhouder en de externe accountant

- Collega’s weten je te vinden voor duidelijk financieel advies

- Je hebt processen verbeterd en werk geautomatiseerd waar het kon

- Het nieuwe financieel ERP systeem draait probleemloos

OVER JOU

- Leidinggevende ervaring: Je hebt minimaal 10 jaar ervaring in finance of accountancy, waarvan een belangrijk deel in een eindverantwoordelijke of aansturende rol. Je weet hoe je een team begeleidt, motiveert en op kwaliteit stuurt - en durft daarin het voortouw te nemen.

- Financiële expertise: Je bent volledig thuis in accounting, belastingzaken en financiële compliance. Je hebt ervaring met het inrichten en verbeteren van processen in een middelgrote tot grote organisatie, bij voorkeur met internationale dimensie.

- Systeemkennis (ERP): Excel kent weinig geheimen voor je. Daarnaast heb je gewerkt met ERP-systemen zoals NetSuite (absoluut een pre) of AFAS. Bekendheid met tools als SpendCloud of HubSpot is mooi meegenomen.

- Opleidingsachtergrond: Je hebt een afgeronde hbo- of wo-opleiding in accountancy of een vergelijkbare richting. Beschik je over een RA-titel? Dan is dat een duidelijke pré.

- ERP-implementatie: Je hebt actief meegedraaid in een ERP-implementatie en weet wat daarbij komt kijken op het gebied van processen, migratie en interne afstemming.

- Communicatief sterk: Je kunt financiële informatie helder en overtuigend overbrengen, zowel richting je team als richting management en andere afdelingen.

- Taalvaardigheid: Je spreekt en schrijft vloeiend Nederlands en Engels en kunt soepel schakelen tussen beide in een professionele context.

- Hybride beschikbaarheid: Je werkt grotendeels waar je wilt, maar bent minimaal twee dagen per week op ons kantoor in Rotterdam en fulltime beschikbaar om zowel inhoudelijk mee te werken als de lijnen uit te zetten.
