For more information about i-80 Gold please visit our website: www.i80gold.com POSITION: SUSTAINABILITY COORDINATOR Reporting to the Manager, Sustainability, the Sustainability Coordinator supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Company’s corporate and site-level sustainability programs, frameworks, systems, and reporting processes. Working collaboratively across corporate functions and operating sites, the Sustainability Coordinator helps coordinate sustainability initiatives, collect and manage performance data, support internal and external reporting, and advance programs that strengthen environmental, social, and governance performance. The ideal candidate is an energetic, highly organized self-starter with a strong interest in sustainability and responsible mining. This individual is eager to learn, comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, and able to build effective working relationships across functions and sites. The role provides an opportunity to develop broad sustainability experience while contributing to the continued advancement and maturity of the Company’s sustainability program. LOCATION: This position may be based at any of the Company’s operating sites or locations throughout Northern Nevada. Regular travel between Company sites and other locations is required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Sustainability Reporting & Disclosure
Coordinate the annual Sustainability Report process, including maintaining the reporting SOP, project schedule, data requests, content development, internal reviews, and final deliverables. Support the end-to-end collection, validation, consolidation, and documentation of sustainability and ESG data across corporate functions and operating sites. Draft and coordinate sustainability report content, performance metrics, and disclosures aligned with applicable reporting standards and frameworks, including GRI, SASB/ISSB and other relevant requirements. Coordinate responses to external sustainability and ESG assessments, questionnaires, and rating organizations, including S&P Global, Bloomberg, Moody’s, ISS and MSCI, as applicable. Support sustainability-related communications and disclosure materials in coordination with Corporate Communications and other internal stakeholders.
Sustainability Data & Performance Management
Maintain sustainability data systems, records, and supporting documentation to promote data accuracy, consistency, traceability, and audit readiness. Track and monitor sustainability performance metrics, targets, and key performance indicators to measure progress against Company sustainability objectives. Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and reliability of sustainability data collection, management, and reporting processes. Support the development of dashboards, scorecards, and other tools used to communicate sustainability performance and progress to internal stakeholders.
Programs, Policies & Continuous Improvement
Coordinate the review, maintenance, and development of Corporate Sustainability policies, procedures, standards, and supporting documentation. Provide input into the development and continuous improvement of corporate, regional, and site-level sustainability procedures and practices. Document, maintain, and continuously improve sustainability reporting processes, controls, workflows, and guidance materials. Monitor evolving sustainability standards, disclosure requirements, industry trends, and leading practices and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Collaborate with site and corporate teams to support implementation of sustainability initiatives and strengthen consistency of sustainability practices across the Company. Support additional sustainability initiatives and strategic priorities as required to advance Company objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management or related field preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience working in a sustainability or environmental role (mining sector experience preferred). Valid driver’s license required. Effective report writing and data management skills. Strong organizational and administrative skills.
