As an Application Developer: Google Cloud FullStack, you will design and develop cloud-native solutions using microservices-based modular designs, API-driven microservices, and event-driven architectures. You will work in a continuous release and improvement cycle via Agile, delivering scalable and resilient backend microservices and rich UI applications.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Develop Cloud-Native Solutions: Design and develop cloud-native solutions using microservices-based modular designs, API-driven microservices, and event-driven architectures, ensuring scalability and resilience.

• Deliver Backend Microservices: Develop backend microservices based on 12-factor principles, exposing functionality via API and event interfaces, and utilizing frameworks such as Springboot.

• Create Data Models: Develop data models using modern SQL and No-SQL modeling techniques, and implement data storage solutions using hyperscaler cloud services and frameworks.

• Implement Event-Driven Applications: Develop event-driven applications using Kafka, Zookeeper, and other cloud-native technologies, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

• Manage Cloud Services: Run and manage services on IBM Cloud, including PaaS, databases, event-driven services, observability, DevSecOps, storage, and networking.

This role can be performed from anywhere in the United States of America.

• Cloud-Native Solution Development: Experience with designing and developing cloud-native solutions using microservices-based modular designs, API-driven microservices, and event-driven architectures.

• Scalable Backend Microservices: Experience with developing scalable and resilient backend microservices based on 12-factor principles, exposing functionality via API and event interfaces, utilizing frameworks such as Springboot.

• Modern Data Modeling: Experience with developing data models using modern SQL and No-SQL modeling techniques, implementing data storage solutions using hyperscaler cloud services and frameworks.

• Event-Driven Application Development: Experience with developing event-driven applications using Kafka, Zookeeper, and other cloud-native technologies, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

• Cloud Service Management: Experience with running and managing services on IBM Cloud, including PaaS, databases, event-driven services, observability, DevSecOps, storage, and networking.

• Proficiency in Hyperscaler Cloud: Experience with hyperscaler cloud services and frameworks, including IBM Cloud, Google Cloud, and others, to develop and deploy cloud-native solutions.

• Knowledge of Progressive Web Apps: Familiarity with progressive web applications based on Single Page Applications (SPA) and microfrontends, using frameworks such as ReactJS or Angular.

• Understanding of Cloud-Native CI/CD: Experience with cloud-native Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) for change release, including toolchains, pipelines, and automation.
