Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement quality engineering strategies, standards, and best practices across projects and programs.
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
  • Build and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency, coverage, and release quality.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, architects, and project managers to ensure quality requirements are incorporated from the start.
  • Identify, document, track, and validate defects while working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Support Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and CI/CD practices by integrating testing into the software delivery pipeline.
  • Perform non-functional testing, including performance, scalability, reliability, usability, and security testing.
  • Analyze quality metrics and testing results to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Review requirements, user stories, and technical designs to ensure testability and alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide quality-related consulting and recommendations to improve development processes, release management, and overall software quality.
  • Mentor junior quality engineers and promote a quality-first culture across teams.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise

Professional Expertise

  • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
  • Experience working in Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or DevOps environments.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience managing testing activities across multiple projects and teams.
  • Ability to assess risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on quality excellence.

Technical Expertise

  • Test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, UFT, or Tosca.
  • API testing using Postman, SoapUI, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
  • Performance testing with JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
  • CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Test management and defect tracking tools including Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or ALM.
  • Knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or SQL.
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and modern application architectures.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices, containerization (Docker), and version control systems (Git).
  • Familiarity with security testing, accessibility testing, and quality metrics reporting.

• Avaliação de Capacidades de Teste: Você avaliará as capacidades de teste existentes, identificando áreas de melhoria e oportunidades de transformação para embasar o desenvolvimento de roteiros de transformação personalizados.
