Key Responsibilities
· Manage and oversee Accounts Receivable, Cash Application, Collections, and Credit Management processes.
· Supervise month-end activities, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
· Review customer credit profiles and approve credit limit recommendations.
· Ensure timely payment allocation, account reconciliation, and resolution of disputes.
· Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and controls to drive operational excellence.
· Support internal and external audits through accurate documentation and analysis.
· Lead process improvement and automation initiatives.
· Coach, mentor, and develop team members to achieve performance goals.
· Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve cash flow and customer experience.
Required Skills & Experience
· Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce.
· Minimum 8+ years of experience in O2C, Accounts Receivable, or Finance Operations.
· Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
· Experience in cash application, credit management, and reconciliations.
· Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP S4 HANA preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
· Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
· Proven ability to drive process improvements and deliver results in a deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Skills
· Experience leading teams in a BPO/Shared Services environment.
· Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Process Improvement, or Automation initiatives.
· Strong coaching, conflict resolution, and change management capabilities.
Language Requirement
Mandatory: Proficiency in Japanese (reading, writing, and speaking), with the ability to communicate effectively with Japanese customers, business partners, and stakeholders.
