Responsible for procurement operational support, customer assistance services, purchase order execution, supplier coordination, and catalog administration to support internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Assistance & Procurement Support
Receive and manage procurement and accounts payable related requests from internal users and suppliers through phone, email, or ticketing systems. Provide application guidance, procurement process support, and status updates while ensuring professional customer service.
Issue Resolution & Operational Coordination
Analyze issues, document incident logs accurately, and escalate unresolved issues to level two support teams when necessary. Resolve blocked invoices, coordinate payment related issues, expedite purchase orders, and follow up on delivery status to ensure smooth procurement operations.
- Able to speak Mandarin in business context
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or related disciplines.
- 0–3 years of experience in procurement operations, shared services, or customer support.
- Familiarity with SAP, Ariba, or procurement tools is preferred. Strong communication, customer service, and multitasking
• Market Analysis Knowledge: Understanding of market drivers, supplier profiles, and relative negotiating positions to inform procurement decisions, including analyzing changing client and market conditions.
• Contract Management Exposure: Familiarity with contract deliverables and reporting requirements to support client procurement engagement and ensure compliance with IBM business conduct guidelines.
• Data Collection Experience: Ability to gather spend and consumption data to support category management tasks and identify key business requirements, utilizing tools like P2P sourcing applications.
