The IBM Chief Information Officer (CIO) organization drives IBM's enterprise technology strategy and digital transformation. The CIO Technology Platform Transformation (TPT) team builds AI-first platforms and intelligent engineering solutions that modernize enterprise IT, improve developer productivity, enhance operational excellence, and accelerate business innovation through Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Cloud, and Data.

As a Software Developer, you will work with experienced engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy AI-powered applications, intelligent automation solutions, and efficient and reliable software systems. You will contribute to projects involving Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Machine Learning, backend and web development, databases, cloud-native technologies, and software engineering while gaining hands-on experience building enterprise technology solutions.

What you'll Gain:

Key Responsibilities: * Collaborate with engineering teams to understand project requirements and build AI-enabled applications and services. * Write clean, maintainable, well-organized, efficient, and well-tested code using modern programming languages and frameworks. * Develop and integrate Generative AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs). * Build AI Agents and Agentic AI workflows using modern AI frameworks. * Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions. * Develop REST APIs, backend services, web applications, and AI integrations. * Work with databases, SQL, and NoSQL technologies as required by projects. * Conduct unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and participate in code reviews to ensure software quality and adherence to coding standards. * Participate in CI/CD activities and work with version control systems such as Git. * Build automation solutions to improve engineering productivity and streamline existing processes. * Work with cloud-native technologies, containers, and DevOps practices. * Communicate progress, issues, and suggestions to the tech team and stakeholders. * Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies across AI and software development. * Adhere to project timelines, deadlines, and applicable project requirements. * Contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions and collaborate effectively in an Agile environment. * Continuously learn and apply emerging AI and software engineering technologies.

* Pursuing B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech./MCA in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, IT, or related field. * Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript. * Knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming. * Basic understanding of Machine Learning and Generative AI. * Knowledge of REST APIs and backend development. * Knowledge of web development frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. * Knowledge of databases, SQL syntax, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL. * Familiarity with Git, version control, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile software development. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced Agile environment.

* Exposure to LLMs and Prompt Engineering. * Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks. * Knowledge of RAG and Vector Databases such as FAISS, Pinecone, ChromaDB, or Milvus. * Experience with AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, or Google Cloud. * Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD. * Exposure to React, Node.js, Spring Boot, or FastAPI.
