  • Updating existing cataloging records, including bibliographic, holdings, and item records.
  • Flagging potential duplicate items for review; coding duplicates in Alma for review and batch deletion.
  • Following guidelines for specific materials to assure all records created follow NLM policies and appropriate national and international standards.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience executing the physical processing of collection materials.
  • 1+ year of library and cataloging experience (e.g., use of and familiarity with MARC21, any library services platform, Cutter Sanborn Tables, etc.)

  • Some familiarity with a variety of European languages.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
