The posting

Voor een internationale organisatie in de regio Antwerpen ben ik op zoek naar een Senior Wintel System Engineer. De organisatie maakt deel uit van een internationale groep en ondersteunt vanuit België verschillende entiteiten en medewerkers met een brede dienstverlening en een uitgebreide IT-infrastructuur.

Binnen het interne IT-team krijg je een belangrijke rol in het beheer en de verdere uitbouw van de infrastructuur. De focus ligt op de Wintel-omgeving, met onder meer Windows Server, Active Directory en VMware, aangevuld met Microsoft 365 en cloudtechnologieën zoals Azure & AWS. Je behandelt complexe technische vraagstukken, neemt verantwoordelijkheid over infrastructuurprojecten en krijgt de ruimte om zelfstandig verbeteringen door te voeren.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Je beheert, monitort en optimaliseert de Wintel-infrastructuur, met een focus op Windows Server, Active Directory en VMware.
  • Je analyseert en verhelpt complexe 3rd-line incidenten en ondersteunt collega's van de 2nd line bij technische escalaties.
  • Je staat in voor serverbeheer, migraties, updates, virtualisatie, back-ups en security.
  • Je beheert en optimaliseert de Microsoft 365-omgeving en werkt mee aan de verdere integratie van Azure en andere cloudtechnologieën.
  • Je ondersteunt de bredere IT-infrastructuur, waaronder laptops, desktops en de Modern Workplace-omgeving.
  • Je neemt ownership over technische projecten en infrastructuurverbeteringen en denkt proactief mee over stabiliteit, performantie en veiligheid.
  • Je hebt minstens 10 jaar ervaring als System Engineer of in een vergelijkbare functie, met een sterke focus op Wintel-infrastructuur.
  • Je beschikt over een grondige kennis van Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, VMware, Microsoft 365 en PowerShell.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met Azure en AWS en begrijpt hoe on-premises infrastructuur en cloudomgevingen samenwerken.
  • Je hebt een brede technische kennis van netwerken, virtualisatie, serverhardware, back-upoplossingen en security.
  • Je kan zelfstandig complexe technische problemen analyseren en neemt graag verantwoordelijkheid over projecten en optimalisaties.
  • Je spreekt Nederlands als moedertaal en communiceert zeer vlot in het Engels.
