The posting

Voor een klant binnen de verzekeringssector zijn we op zoek naar een ervaren Mainframe Software Engineer.

Je komt terecht in een Agile Mainframe-team en werkt aan applicaties voor het beheer van verzekeringspolissen, claims en financiële processen.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Technische analyses uitvoeren en requirements vertalen naar oplossingen
  • Ontwikkelen en onderhouden van applicaties in COBOL op IBM z/OS Mainframe
  • Component testing en bug fixing
  • Bestaande technische componenten hergebruiken en verbeteren
  • Technische documentatie voorzien
  • Occasionele tweede- en derdelijnssupport
  • Actief samenwerken binnen een Agile team

Wat zoeken we?

  • Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring met COBOL-programmering
  • Sterke ervaring met IBM Mainframe
  • Ervaring met: CICS VSAM Batch JCL SDSF
  • RDz is een plus
  • Kennis van verzekeringen is noodzakelijk
  • Hands-on, analytisch en oplossingsgericht
  • Ervaring met of interesse in agentic coding is een plus

Talen

  • Nederlands: zeer goed
  • Engels: zeer goed

Praktisch

  • Senior niveau
  • Start: ASAP
  • Duur: minimaal 1 jaar
  • Hybride: minimaal 2 dagen per week onsite
  • Eigen laptop/toestel vereist
