Supports IFF's international trade activities through the coordination of export operations, logistics providers, regulatory compliance requirements, shipment execution, and continuous improvement initiatives that drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Where You'll Make a Difference

  • Coordinate and monitor export operations from order receipt through final delivery to customers.
  • Review and oversee the issuance of export documentation, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, and other required shipping documents.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for international customers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Track export shipments to ensure compliance with delivery schedules, customer requirements, and destination-country regulations.
  • Coordinate international freight activities, including service provider instructions, performance monitoring, and cost evaluations.
  • Monitor logistics performance indicators, including OTIF, lead times, transportation costs, shipment delays, and operational incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with customs, tax, trade, and regulatory requirements applicable to international export operations.
  • Support export shipments to countries with specific regulatory requirements by coordinating and validating all pre-shipment activities and documentation.
  • Investigate and resolve operational issues, documentation discrepancies, shipment delays, cargo damage claims, and customer concerns.
  • Prepare reports and performance analyses for leadership, highlighting shipment volumes, operational challenges, and improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on logistics process optimization, service enhancement, and cost reduction.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, Trade Compliance, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless execution of export activities.

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • Bachelor's degree in International Trade, International Relations, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in export operations, international logistics, or foreign trade activities.
  • Strong knowledge of Incoterms, international transportation processes, and export documentation requirements.
  • Experience working with SAP or a similar ERP platform.
  • Knowledge of international logistics, customs clearance processes, and logistics service provider management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.
  • Collaborative and results-oriented approach to working across cross-functional teams.
  • Intermediate English proficiency (written and verbal) is required.

How Would You Stand Out?

  • Knowledge of Duty Drawback programs and export incentive regimes.
  • Experience with Trade Compliance practices and Authorized Economic Operator (AEO/OEA) programs.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar reporting and data analysis tools.
  • Advanced English proficiency and/or intermediate to advanced Spanish language skills.
  • Experience working with international customers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers across multiple regions.
  • Familiarity with logistics performance management, KPI reporting, and continuous improvement methodologies.
