Job description

LOCATION Bangalore, India

THE ROLE We are building a cloud-native platform with AI as the baseline. AI is not a feature layer. It defines how systems are designed, how data is structured, and how engineers think before building. AI in the product starts from system design and data modeling.

Engineers here are builders who own end-to-end delivery. You think about data schema, scale, and distributed systems before using AI tools. You own what you build including development, testing, release, and production operations.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and implement end-to-end cloud services and APIs independently
  • Define data schemas and service boundaries aligned to AI-first system design
  • Own full service lifecycle including:development automated testing (functional and integration) CI/CD pipelines deployment and release production monitoring and alerting
  • Build and maintain observability, dashboards, and runbooks
  • Apply distributed systems design for scalability, performance, and fault tolerance
  • Investigate production issues and drive resolution and learnings
  • Review code and guide less experienced engineers

Use AI effectively to improve velocity while ensuring sound system design

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree in computer science, mathematics, IT or relevant professional experience with qualified technical training
  • 8 to 12 years of relevant experience
  • Strong fundamentals in distributed systems and cloud-native architecture
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Go, Java, C++, Python, Rust, or similar) with experience building production-quality services
  • Experience building and operating production services
  • Understanding of scalability, reliability, and security
  • Experience with automation, CI/CD, and service ownership
  • Ability to use AI tools effectively while applying engineering judgment
  • Working under minimal supervision
  • Takes responsibility proactively
