Wat ga je doen?

Als pijnconsulent houd je je dagelijks bezig met poliklinische zorg voor patiënten met chronische pijn. Je werkt met verschillende disciplines binnen het pijnteam, daarnaast voer je diverse behandelingen en technische handelingen zelfstandig uit. Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit:

  • Poliklinische zorg verlenen aan patiënten met chronische pijn.
  • Klinische zorg bij opgenomen patiënten met chronische pijn.
  • Samenwerken met diverse disciplines en eventueel deelnemen aan multidisciplinaire overleggen.
  • Pijnprotocollen opstellen, actualiseren en waar nodig bijsturen.
  • Een schakelfunctie vervullen tussen acute pijn service en chronische pijn.
  • Technische ondersteuning bieden bij behandelingen van de pijnspecialist.
  • Zelfstandig uitvoeren van: TENS‑spreekuur, Qutenza‑behandelingen en Iontoforese‑behandelingen

Je werkt nauw samen met de pijn-specialisten, waardoor jullie elkaar versterken in de zorg voor de patiënt. Humor en een open manier van communiceren zorgen bij ons voor een prettige, ontspannen sfeer in het team.
