At iLOQ, we are transforming the way people access buildings and infrastructure with innovative smart locking solutions. Our products are used globally, and compliance plays a key role in ensuring they meet regulatory, safety, and certification requirements around the world.
We are now looking for a Compliance Engineer to join our team in a fixed-term position until the end of 2027 to cover a parental leave.
You do not need to be an experienced compliance professional yet. What matters most is your willingness to learn, your analytical mindset, and your ability to work with people across different functions and cultures. We will help you develop into a compliance expert.
What you'll do
As a Compliance Engineer, you will help ensure that iLOQ products meet applicable regulatory, certification, and market requirements globally. You will work closely with R&D, Quality, Sourcing, Manufacturing, and external partners such as testing laboratories and certification bodies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting product compliance and certification activities
- Interpreting standards, regulations, and technical requirements
- Coordinating compliance testing and certification processes
- Maintaining product compliance documentation
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Helping turn complex compliance requirements into practical guidance for product teams
What you'll bring

- A technical educational background (preferably Bachelor or Master)
- A systematic and analytical way of working
- Attention to detail and a passion for solving problems
- An interest in product regulations, testing, and certification
- The ability to read, understand, and interpret technical standards and requirements
- A strong desire to learn and build deep expertise in a specialist field
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Confidence to raise compliance-related requirements and viewpoints when needed
- Enthusiasm for working with different functions and a wide range of stakeholders
- Fluent English skills, as our working environment and stakeholder network are international

The position is a fixed-term parental leave replacement until 31 December 2027. The role can start as soon as the selected candidate is available.
