The posting

Imagen is seeking a certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) / Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our onsite interventional radiology team supporting a hospital system across California's North Coast. This is a broad, high-volume procedural practice encompassing image-guided biopsies and aspirations, drainage procedures, vascular access, spine and musculoskeletal procedures, and a wide range of fluoroscopic and contrast-guided studies. You'll work alongside onsite radiologists and Imagen's physician-led radiology group in an integrated procedural practice focused on patient care, clinical collaboration, and a high quality patient experience. We're flexible on both schedule and home base. The role serves a health system spanning multiple hospitals across California's North Coast, allowing you to build a varied procedural practice while enjoying a predictable daytime schedule and the lifestyle of the North Coast.

Why Imagen? Predictable Lifestyle: No call. No nights. No weekends. A predictable daytime schedule where you tell us how many days per week works for you.

Practice at the Top of Your License: Participate in a broad interventional radiology and radiology procedural practice, with opportunities to perform image-guided procedures, vascular access, spine and musculoskeletal procedures, and fluoroscopic studies

Broad Procedural Case Mix: The practice extends well beyond routine fluoroscopy, including biopsies, aspirations, drainages, joint injections, spine procedures, vascular access, and a full range of contrast-guided studies.

Deep Clinical Collaboration: Work as part of a coordinated onsite and remote care team, collaborating closely with radiologists, technologists, hospital staff, and Imagen's physician-led clinical organization.

Backed by Imagen's Technology & Infrastructure Focus on patient care while we handle the rest. You're supported by Imagen's operational, IT, and administrative teams, with dedicated procedure support staff (technologists) onsite.

Live Where You Want The role serves a network of hospitals across California's North Coast — we're flexible on which site(s) you cover and where you live. Napa Valley wine country, the Mendocino coast, and the Clear Lake / Ukiah communities are all options.

Your Day-to-Day You'll perform IR- and FL-guided procedures across a broad North Coast case mix. The bulk of the practice falls into five procedural areas: Image-guided biopsies & aspirations — FL- and US-guided needle placement for biopsy, aspiration, and injection; fine-needle aspiration; bone marrow biopsy; percutaneous liver, muscle, and lymph node biopsies.

Fluoroscopic contrast studies — Barium swallow, esophagram, upper GI (single and double contrast), small bowel follow-through, double-contrast colon, retrograde urography, cystography, HSG, and common bile duct / biliary studies.

Image-guided drainage — Paracentesis, thoracentesis, percutaneous fluid collection drainage (peritoneal, retroperitoneal, visceral, pleural), abscess and cyst aspiration, and drainage catheter management.

Spine, neuro & MSK procedures — FL-guided arthrograms (shoulder, hip, knee), joint injections and arthrocentesis (with and without US guidance), lumbar puncture with FL/CT guidance, myelogram injections, and FL-guided spinal injections.

Vascular access — FL-guided PICC line insertion and replacement, contrast evaluation of existing central venous access devices, and tunneled central venous catheter management.

What You Bring · Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) in good standing (NCCPA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) with current national board certification (FNP, AGPCNP, or AGACNP) · Active California PA license or APRN license, or eligibility to obtain · Experience with a broad IR / FL procedural scope — image-guided biopsies, drainage procedures, GI contrast studies, joint injections, and PICC / vascular access preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply and will receive structured procedural training · Comfort working across inpatient and outpatient case volumes · Willingness to cover across multiple hospital sites on California's North Coast (schedule and site mix are flexible) · Strong communication and collaboration skills · Desire to work in a patient-facing, team-oriented hospital environment

What We Offer · Flexible schedule — tell us how many days per week works for you · Flexible compensation, scaled to your schedule and commensurate with experience · Paid time off · Malpractice coverage including tail · Licensing and credentialing support · Robust administrative, IT, and operational infrastructure so you can focus on patient care · True work-life balance: daytime schedule — no call, no nights, no weekends

Why California's North Coast? The North Coast is one of California's most livable and scenic regions, with a range of communities to call home: · Napa Valley wine country: world-class dining and easy access to the Bay Area · Ukiah, Willits, and Mendocino County's inland communities: ringed by redwoods, vineyards, and Lake Mendocino · The Mendocino coast: dramatic Pacific coastline, small-town character, and some of the state's best outdoor recreation · Clear Lake: California's largest natural lake, with year-round boating, fishing, and hiking · All within a few hours of San Francisco and Sacramento, close enough for a weekend, far enough to actually escape

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
