What You'll Do
As a Rapid responder, you will have 40hrs guaranteed per week whether we have an emergency case or not during the week, you'll provide compassionate personal care and daily living assistance, including:
- Maintain agreed availability for rapid-response assignments.
- Respond promptly to calls, texts, or other authorized communications from the Staffing Team.
- Provide coverage when a regular caregiver calls out.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, toileting, and incontinence care
- Safely assist with transfers, ambulation, repositioning, and range-of-motion exercises
- Prepare meals based on dietary needs and assist with feeding when appropriate
- Provide medication reminders and assist with self-administered, pre-organized medications
- Offer companionship through conversation, games, reading, and memory-enhancing activities
- Accompany clients to appointments and assist with errands and transportation
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, linen changes, and household organization
- Assist with plant care and occasional pet care as needed
- Observe and report changes in client condition to the Care Manager
- Complete accurate documentation at the end of each shift
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation
- CPR certification preferred
- Previous caregiving or home care experience is a plus.
