WHO WE ARE

Imprint helps the world's best brands grow the lifetime value of their customers. We started with co-branded credit cards and rebuilt them to be smarter, more rewarding, and brand-first. We partner with companies like Crate & Barrel, Rakuten, Booking.com http://Booking.com, H-E-B, Fetch, and Shell to launch modern credit programs that deepen loyalty, unlock savings, and drive growth. But the card is just the beginning. We combine advanced payments infrastructure, intelligent underwriting, and deep customer data to create delightful and personalized experiences for members as well as efficient and profitable relationships for our brand partners. Our robust technology and world-class operations allow us and our brand partners to offer powerful financial products without becoming a bank.

In the U.S., co-branded cards alone account for over $300 billion in annual spend, and most still run on decades-old legacy bank systems. Imprint is the modern alternative: flexible, embeddable, and built for how people actually pay today. Backed by Kleiner Perkins, Thrive Capital, Ribbit, and Khosla Ventures, we're building a world-class team to redefine how people pay and how brands grow. If you want to move fast, solve hard problems, and own real outcomes, we want to meet you.

As Senior Social Media Manager, you will build and own Imprint's social media presence from the ground up. This is a senior individual contributor role with clear accountability for social strategy, content, and execution across B2B and brand channels.

You will act as Imprint's voice on social, developing the point of view, content strategy, and measurement framework that positions Imprint as a credible, compelling brand.

This role blends creative storytelling with strategic ownership of channel health, crisis response, and cross-functional collaboration with brand, marketing, member operations, and legal.

What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days

- Established a social listening and monitoring platform (e.g., Sprout or equivalent) and defined a clear measurement framework

- Developed Imprint's social voice and content strategy to reach target audiences in close partnership with leaders from Communications, Brand, Product Marketing, and the Founder, incorporating the ongoing brand and positioning refresh

- Delivered an execution plan: content cadence, approach for major moments, and a content mining strategy

- Created a formal playbook for managing consumer complaints and social voice issues, developed in collaboration with member operations and legal

- Earned trust as a high-judgment, self-directed partner who can generate ideas and bring them to life independently

Responsibilities

- Own Imprint's social media presence end-to-end, with accountability for strategy, content, channel health, and performance. You’ll start with Linkedin and X and determine where we go next

- Develop and execute a content strategy that reflects Imprint's brand voice and reaches target audiences

- Build and maintain a social listening and monitoring infrastructure to surface insights, trends, and risks in real time

- Create a formal playbook for consumer complaint and social voice management, working closely with member operations and legal

- Define and own the metrics and measurement framework for social; translate performance data into clear narratives for leadership and the broader company

- Partner with Communications, Brand, and Product Marketing leadership to align social content with brand positioning, campaigns, and key moments

- Mine content opportunities across the business, identifying stories, partnerships, and cultural moments worth owning, and establish the infrastructure to make it repeatable

Qualifications

Required

- 5–8 years of social media experience, with a demonstrated track record of building or significantly scaling social presence for a brand

- Exceptional writing skills across formats, tones, and audiences

- Strong editorial judgment: ability to identify risks, make real-time calls, and distinguish issues that require attention from noise

- Experience owning social metrics and translating performance data into clear, actionable narratives for leadership

- Demonstrated ability to build and execute strategy independently, from ideation through execution

- Familiarity with social listening and management platforms such as Sprout Social or equivalent

- Background in B2B companies with a strong consumer lens, or large communications/PR agencies with demonstrated breadth across industries, metrics, and crisis management

Nice to Have

- Experience at companies navigating regulatory, crisis, or consumer complaint communications (e.g., fintech, payments, marketplace, or similarly complex environments)

- Experience developing crisis communications playbooks in collaboration with legal and operations stakeholders

PERKS & BENEFITS

- Competitive compensation and equity packages

- Leading configured work computers of your choice

- Flexible paid time off

- Fully covered, high-quality healthcare, including fully covered dependent coverage

- Additional health coverage includes access to One Medical and the option to enroll in an FSA

- 20 weeks of paid parental leave for the primary caregiver and 8 weeks for all new parents

- Access to industry-leading technology across all of our business units, stemming from our philosophy that we should invest in resources for our team that foster innovation, optimization, and productivity

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
