The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, navigates ambiguity with confidence, and is passionate about building and maintaining efficient production systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules, ensuring alignment with changing program priorities, delivery requirements, and operational goals.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and external vendors, to gather inputs and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Prioritize and sequence work orders to maximize efficiency, optimize resource utilization, and maintain critical-path activities.
  • Utilize planning tools such as ticketing systems, Kanban boards, and progress trackers to monitor and communicate production status.
  • Track and report KPI’s measuring resource efficiency and output
  • Conduct daily stand-ups or production meetings to review schedules, address bottlenecks, and communicate changes in priorities or timelines.
  • Coordinate the flow of materials, components, and assemblies through the production process to ensure timely execution of scheduled work.
  • Monitor resource availability, including materials, tools, equipment, and personnel, to ensure production teams have what they need to execute their work.
  • Adjust workload distribution to address resource constraints, changing priorities, and emerging high-priority tasks while minimizing disruptions to overall workflow.
  • Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, delays, and scheduling conflicts to maintain efficiency and support on-time delivery.
  • Establish and maintain visual management systems to clearly communicate the status of work orders, materials, and production activities.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of inventory levels, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and inventory teams to forecast material requirements and prevent shortages or excess inventory.
  • Analyze production data to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, cost reduction, schedule adherence, and quality.
  • Implement process improvements and best practices to enhance production performance, visibility, and overall operational effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, operations, or related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in production control, manufacturing planning, scheduling, or a similar role.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated proficiency with production planning tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex workflows in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing or R&D environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules based on changing priorities and resource availability.
  • Demonstrated strong understanding of production processes, scheduling methods, and workflow coordination.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Advanced degree in a technical, business, operations, or related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in manufacturing, production planning, scheduling, or operations.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience coordinating complex production workflows, including manufacturing operations, assembly processes, and external vendor activities.
  • Demonstrated data analysis and reporting skills, including developing dashboards, automating reports, integrating operational data, and translating production trends into actionable insights using tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Minitab, or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies, including Kanban, root cause analysis, statistical analysis, and process capability studies.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), work instructions, and other technical documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience with inventory and material planning, resource allocation, production performance tracking, and improving workflow and scheduling accuracy in high-mix or rapidly changing production environments.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
