Para hospital de la provincia de Girona El servicio está formado por 10 especialistas y se responsabiliza de la atención al paciente hospitalizado para cualquier patología médica, incluido los ingresos en la Unidad de Curas Intermedias, el apoyo de las patologías médicas de los pacientes ingresados a los Servicios quirúrgicos, atención a Consultas Externas y apoyo al Servicio de Urgencias. También se dispone de una Unidad de Medicina Ambulatoria en formato Hospital de Día (insuficiencia cardíaca, MPOC y Tratamientos nebulizados por gérmenes multiresistentes...), Unidad de Diagnóstico Rápido y Unidad de Infección por VIH. La Atención Continuada se realiza con guardias de presencia física. Se dispone de la acreditación para la formación de Médicos Internos Residentes en Medicina Interna. Funciones • Atención y seguimiento integral de pacientes adultos hospitalizados con patología médica. • Valoración y manejo de pacientes con pluripatología y enfermedades complejas. • Atención en consultas externas, Hospital de Día y Unidad de Diagnóstico Rápido. • Participación en la atención de pacientes en Urgencias y soporte médico a otros servicios hospitalarios. • Atención y seguimiento de pacientes en la Unidad de Cuidados Intermedios. • Seguimiento de pacientes con patologías específicas, como enfermedad tromboembólica, infección por VIH, insuficiencia cardíaca y EPOC. • Participación en el servicio de Hospitalización a Domicilio. • Participación en sesiones clínicas, actividades docentes y formación de residentes. Requisitos • Licenciatura en Medicina. Homologada en España en caso de haberse cursado en otro país. • Especialidad en medicina interna vía MIR u homologada.
