RIsk and Compliance Analyst

This will be Inclined's first dedicated hire to support our Chief Compliance and Enterprise Risk Officer. You'll support and develop our regulatory compliance program as we scale our network of bank partners. You should have 1-3 years of compliance, audit, or regulatory experience, ideally within banking, consumer lending, or within a fintech environment. We're looking for someone detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable engaging directly with bank partners and senior leadership.

The ideal candidate will be able to learn quickly, operate independently across a range of compliance activities, and help formalize processes and documentation as our compliance function matures alongside the company.

This role will report directly to our Chief Compliance and Enterprise Risk Officer, and will work in close, regular partnership with our Chief Capital Officer, Head of Operations, and the broader Inclined team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

● Support the regulatory compliance requirements of Inclined's bank partners, including monitoring and helping maintain compliance with applicable federal and state laws as they apply to our lending programs.

● Perform post-close quality assurance reviews on funded transactions to confirm compliance with bank partner requirements, internal policies, and applicable regulations; identify exceptions and support root-cause and remediation efforts.

● Ongoing reviews of existing and potential vendors Inclined may utilize as part of its vendor management program, including conducting and updating annual assessments.

● Field and respond to incoming compliance questionnaires, due diligence requests, and information requests from bank partners, auditors, and other counterparties.

● Assist with maintaining Inclined's corporate and state licensing portfolio, including tracking renewal deadlines, supporting license renewal applications and license-related audits and examinations.

● Participate in various dialogues and working sessions with bank partners on compliance matters, program updates, and regulatory changes; help prepare materials and talking points as needed.

● Maintain compliance tracking logs, documentation, and reporting to support audit-readiness and internal oversight.

● Targeted internal audit activities as needed.

● Monitor changes in relevant banking and consumer finance regulations and help assess their impact on Inclined's programs.

● Participate in various workstreams related to our SOC compliance requirements.

● Support the Chief Compliance and Enterprise Risk Officer and Chief Capital Officer on ad hoc compliance, risk, and bank partnership projects as they arise.

QUALIFICATIONS

● Bachelor's degree required

● 1–3 years of experience in compliance, audit, or a related field; experience with bank-fintech partnerships, consumer lending, or insurance-adjacent financial products a plus

● Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail; comfortable managing multiple concurrent deadlines (license renewals, audit requests, questionnaires)

● Advanced data skills; comfort working with large amounts of data and building trackers and reports; ability to drive efficiency/automation using AI

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the poise to interact directly with bank partners and senior leadership

● Self-starter who can operate with ambiguity and help build process in a small, fast-moving company

● Sound judgment, discretion, and a collaborative, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
