The posting

Background:

The client seeks to engage a Business Analyst to support digital product and service delivery. The consultant will work with business stakeholders, product owners, designers, developers, architects, and quality assurance teams to translate business and user needs into clear, actionable requirements.

Objective:

Provide Business Analysis services to define requirements, improve business processes, support Agile delivery, and validate that solutions meet business objectives and user needs.

Scope of Services:

The Business Analyst will:

  • Requirements Analysis: Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows. 
  • User-Centric Analysis: Incorporate user research, feedback, pain points, and UX principles into requirements and product recommendations. 
  • Process Improvement: Analyze workflows and identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and improved efficiency. 
  • AI-Enabled Delivery: Use approved AI tools to support requirements, process mapping, user stories, and acceptance criteria; validate AI outputs; and define AI-enabled business requirements considering value, privacy, security, and human oversight. 
  • Agile Delivery: Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives, supporting backlog readiness and prioritization. 
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Use research, analytics, and stakeholder feedback to recommend improvements and support prioritization. 
  • Risk & Impact Assessment: Identify and communicate risks, dependencies, constraints, and impacts and recommend mitigation measures. 
  • Testing & Validation: Define acceptance criteria, support UAT, and validate that delivered solutions meet agreed requirements.

Required Qualifications:

Professional Experience:

  • 3-5 years of relevant Business Analysis experience in digital product, technology, or transformation environments. 
  • Experience with requirements elicitation, user stories, acceptance criteria, process mapping, Agile delivery, and UAT. 
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary business, product, UX, and technology teams. 
  • Experience using LeanIX, Miro, and Jira is highly desirable.

Core Competencies:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and stakeholder communication skills. 
  • Knowledge of business analysis, process improvement, Agile/Scrum, and user-centered practices. 
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements. 
  • Ability to use AI-enabled tools responsibly while validating outputs and maintaining appropriate human oversight.

  • Timely and high-quality completion of assigned deliverables. 
  • Clear, complete, and actionable requirements and documentation. 
  • Effective identification of risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities. 
  • Successful support of UAT and solution validation. 
  • Effective collaboration with business and delivery teams. 
  • Compliance with applicable governance, privacy, security, and documentation standards.
