As a Product Owner in the Digital Growth Enablement team, you will support the development and delivery of digital distribution capabilities that make it easier for customers, advisers and ecosystem partners to purchase and receive service support. The role supports both self-service and assisted journeys across our distribution channels.

Working with business and technical teams, you will translate business goals and user needs into clear product priorities, support delivery throughout the product life cycle, and help drive adoption and measurable digital growth outcomes. You will contribute to product decisions while building your product management, commercial and stakeholder capabilities.

What you will be working on

Support product strategy and roadmap delivery

· Support the definition of the Digital Growth Enablement product strategy and roadmap, and translate the roadmap into deliverable capabilities.

· Work with business and technical teams to translate business goals and user needs into a clear, prioritised product backlog.

· Manage and maintain the product roadmap throughout the product life cycle, keeping priorities, progress and dependencies visible to stakeholders.

Deliver product capabilities

· Participate in the product development process and work closely with engineering, design and business teams to deliver the agreed roadmap and capabilities.

· Clarify product requirements, intended outcomes and acceptance criteria so that delivery teams have a shared understanding of what needs to be achieved.

· Support product testing and validation to ensure that delivered capabilities meet user needs, business requirements and expected quality standards.

· Coordinate with relevant teams to support launch and operational readiness.

Drive adoption and digital growth

· Execute go-to-market, product adoption and usage initiatives that deliver value to customers, advisers and ecosystem partners, and contribute to digital growth targets.

· Support the development of sustainable digital distribution capabilities that enable faster, reusable and scalable connections across products, channels and partners.

· Identify and remove friction across purchase and servicing journeys, processes and hand-offs.

Monitor performance and manage product health

· Monitor product performance and usage, and use data, feedback and operational insights to identify opportunities for improvement.

· Identify product risks and dependencies, and work with relevant teams to address issues early.

· Ensure digital experiences are clear, fair and customer-centred, while meeting business and regulatory requirements.

What we are looking for

· Degree in IT/Business

· 1 to 2 years of working experience in the Insurance Industry, either in digital platform operations or IT aspect and/or 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, digital delivery or a related role.

· A business-first mindset – comfortable owning outcomes and revenue/adoption impact, not just feature delivery.

· Experience supporting customer-facing digital products/servicing journeys.

· Experience translating business needs into product requirements, priorities or a delivery backlog.

· Experience working with cross-functional business, design and engineering teams through product development and delivery, and familiarity with Agile Scrum.

· Working knowledge of web technologies and web services, including APIs and system integrations, with the ability to engage technical teams and understand how digital capabilities are designed and delivered.

· Ability to use data, user feedback and operational insights to support product decisions and evaluate outcomes.

· Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to make complex matters clear.

· Commercial awareness and an interest in how digital products support growth, distribution and customer outcomes.

· A proactive, organized and collaborative approach, with sound judgement and attention to detail.

What success looks like

· The product roadmap and prioritized backlog remain clear, current and aligned with agreed business outcomes.

· Product capabilities are delivered to the expected quality and are ready for adoption and operational use.

· Customers, advisers and ecosystem partners can complete purchase and servicing journeys with less friction.

· Product adoption and usage contribute to digital growth and channel enablement objectives.

· Reusable digital distribution capabilities make it easier to enable products, channels and partners.

· Product risks, dependencies and performance issues are identified and addressed early.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
