ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Project Manager at Infinite Lambda, you'll be a pivotal force behind the successful delivery of large-scale, complex client projects for our most important clients. You will be at the forefront of business transformation, holding ultimate accountability for project execution and owning the entire project lifecycle. You will ensure all projects and workstreams deliver tangible, measurable business value, on time and within budget, helping clients innovate and compete.

You are a key partner in our client relationships, working with our Account Managers to nurture long-term partnerships and spot new opportunities, contributing to the growth of our client accounts. You will use your positive and collaborative attitude to foster a culture of excellence, self-organisation, and high accountability across delivery streams. Your empathy and problem-solving skills will be essential as you guide your team to become more self-organised and accountable, celebrating successes along the way.

ANTICIPATED START DATE: ASAP

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead the end-to-end delivery of client projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies (depending on the best fit with the client), expertly tailoring your approach to the specific needs and phase of each project.

- Develop and maintain clear scope and timelines, ensuring you can protect projects against scope creep and provide alternative solutions to recover as needed.

- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, working closely with clients and internal teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

- Facilitate stakeholder interviews and discovery sessions to elicit needs and uncover pain points, constraints, and opportunities.

- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, including test planning, UAT coordination, and defect triage, ensuring delivered solutions meet agreed acceptance criteria.

- Conduct data analysis and profiling to validate requirements, support migration activities, and inform data model and reporting design.

- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, clarifying scope, managing ambiguity, and communicating trade offs.

- Proactively develop and champion creative, non-standard solutions to execution challenges, ensuring optimal recovery and continuous improvement in delivery standards.

- Establish and uphold stringent project standards and governance models to ensure predictable, high-quality execution across all workstreams.

- Facilitate steering committees and provide clear, trusted updates to executive sponsors.

- Work with teams from both Infinite Lambda and the client to deliver projects, earning their trust and getting 360-degree feedback on feasibility and plans.

- Leverage your technical understanding to constructively challenge assumptions, guide recovery plans, and facilitate trade-off decisions between engineering quality and delivery speed, ensuring alignment with overall project goals.

- Create and maintain essential documentation (such as RAID Logs, RACI matrices, business requirement documents, and Gantt charts) and lead ceremonies like standups, retrospectives, and client presentations.

- Proactively identify risks and remove roadblocks, helping the team find the pathway to excellence that earns the admiration and respect of your clients.

- Track progress and communicate updates to stakeholders regularly through reports and presentations. Conduct project reviews and identify areas for improvement.

- Deliver structured, clear, and professional communication, tailoring your style to best suit each client's environment — this is pivotal to how our clients perceive Infinite Lambda.

- Maintain a safe and congenial working environment for your team.

- Support with client prospects - meetings, follow up and relationship management.

- Liaise with our staffing team to ensure visibility on what will be needed to deliver projects.

- Work with Account Manager(s) to provide constant and stable visibility on accounts.

- Provide active coaching and mentorship to delivery teams, helping them adopt best practices, adhere to project standards, and elevate their own delivery capabilities.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
