Job Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Transport & Delivery Supervisor to manage our daily logistics, plan vehicle routes, and lead our delivery team. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, tracking fleet maintenance, and personally stepping in to operate our Class 4 vehicles for urgent site deliveries during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Execution & Route Management

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise the daily routing and scheduling of delivery vehicles to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Actively operate heavy company fleet vehicles (Class 4) to execute complex, high-volume, or urgent cargo deliveries directly to client sites.
  • Oversee and assist in the safe loading, securing, and unloading of goods, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and delivery SOPs.
  • Monitor real-time transit progress and step in directly to resolve field delivery issues, delays, or emergencies.

Fleet & Team Supervision

  • Supervise the daily attendance, deployment, and performance of drivers and delivery attendants.
  • Ensure all transport personnel comply with Singapore traffic laws, workplace safety standards, and customer service requirements.
  • Manage vehicle readiness, schedule routine fleet maintenance, and coordinate prompt responses to vehicle breakdowns.

Documentation & Customer Coordination

  • Ensure proper execution and retention of all transport documentation, including job sheets, physical delivery orders, and digital Proof of Deliveries (PODs).
  • Liaise closely with internal customer service and sales teams to manage delivery expectations and handle delivery-related service escalations.
  • Compile data on delivery trips, fuel efficiency, and incident logs to report to management.

Requirements

  • Minimum Polytechnic Diploma, University Degree, or recognized equivalent technical/trade certification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business.
  • At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience in transport operations, fleet supervision, or heavy delivery logistics.
  • Must possess a valid Singapore Class 4 Driving License (Class 3 is a strong asset) to fulfill required delivery execution and backup operational driving duties.
  • Physically fit and willing to engage in field delivery operations alongside the transport crew.
