The posting

Infisical is the open source security infrastructure platform that engineers use for secrets management, certificates, and privileged access management. We help developers and organizations securely manage billions of secrets every month including application configuration, database credentials, certificates, and more.

We’ve raised $19M from Y Combinator, Google, and Elad Gil, and our customers include Hugging Face, OpenRouter, LG, and NVIDIA.

Join us on a mission to make security easier for all developers — starting with secrets management. We’re looking to hire exceptional talent to join us in building the open source security infrastructure stack for the AI era.

About the role

We're looking for a Design Engineer (Brand) to help shape how the world discovers, understands, and experiences Infisical.

This is an intentionally broad role for someone who is passionate about design, engineering, and creative problem solving. You'll co-own the landing page https://infisical.com/, own our brand across every touchpoint, design blog graphics https://infisical.com/blog, merchandise, subway ads, highway billboards, conference booths https://www.linkedin.com/posts/infisical_today-is-our-final-day-at-kubecon-come-say-activity-7394701827826651136-SgcU, and more. You’ll launch campaigns, and build pixel-perfect digital experiences. Beyond that, you'll take on ambitious engineering and creative projects wherever they have the greatest impact.

You’ll work closely with our co-founder and the Marketing, Sales, and Developer Experience teams to:

- Define and evolve Infisical’s brand identity, including the visual language, creative direction, and level of craft across everything we put into the world.

- Design brand and marketing surfaces, including blog graphics, merchandise, presentations, conference booths, launch campaigns, and other creative assets.

- Build and maintain http://infisical.comInfisical.com http://Infisical.com, including pixel-perfect pages, reusable frontend components, CMS integrations, SEO, analytics, and marketing tooling.

- Prototype and ship ambitious engineering and creative projects, including interactive demos, AI-powered experiences, open source initiatives, and internal tooling.

Requirements

- Strong design and engineering skills, with experience building polished digital experiences and a portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual craft, creativity, and technical execution.

- Graphic design experience, with a portfolio spanning typography, layout, and visual identity across print, digital, and social formats.

- Deep mastery of JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and frameworks like React/Next.js.

- Exceptional taste and creative judgment, with the ability to translate abstract ideas into bold, cohesive, and beautifully crafted experiences.

- Bias toward action: able to make decisions, iterate quickly, and take calculated risks.

- Exceptional attention to detail and eagerness to learn.

- Based in Canada or the United States (SF preferred).

Nice to have

- Past experience doing brand design, such as developing visual identities, brand systems, or brand guidelines.

- Experience designing physical or printed materials, such as merchandise, packaging, or event and conference booths.

- Motion design, animation, or video editing experience.

- Illustration skills.

- Experience with developer-facing products or startups.

Team, values & benefits

Our team brings experience from companies like Databricks, AWS, Red Hat, and more. We operate primarily as a remote team, but maintain a strong presence in San Francisco, where we have an office. We also get together in person throughout the year for off-sites, conferences, and team gatherings.

At Infisical, we offer competitive compensation, including both salary and equity options. Additional benefits, such as a lunch stipend and a work setup budget, are available with more details to be found on our careers page https://infisical.com/careers.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.
