About the role:

We’re looking for a Front-End Engineer to join our Product Engineering team and help build intuitive, high-quality experiences across the InfoSum platform.

You’ll work primarily with TypeScript, React, HTML and CSS, developing new features, improving existing experiences and helping us maintain a high standard of quality across the front end. You’ll work closely with other engineers, product managers and designers, contributing throughout the development lifecycle from technical discussions through to delivery.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer who has a solid foundation in modern front-end development and is looking to take on more ownership while continuing to develop their technical skills.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Building and maintaining responsive, high-quality web applications using TypeScript and React
  • Writing clean, maintainable and reusable front-end code
  • Developing accessible and responsive interfaces using HTML and CSS
  • Working closely with Product and Design to turn requirements and designs into great user experiences
  • Contributing to technical discussions and helping shape front-end solutions
  • Writing and maintaining automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications
  • Troubleshooting and resolving bugs and performance issues
  • Participating in code reviews and sharing knowledge with the wider engineering team
  • Continuously looking for ways to improve our development practices, tooling and user experience

What we’re looking for:

  • Commercial experience working as a Front-End Engineer / Software Engineer
  • Strong experience with TypeScript and React
  • Good understanding of HTML and CSS, including responsive design
  • Experience building and maintaining modern web applications
  • Understanding of front-end testing principles and experience with relevant testing tools
  • Familiarity with Git and modern software development practices
  • Good understanding of web accessibility, performance and browser compatibility
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with engineers, designers and product teams
  • A willingness to learn, take ownership and contribute beyond your immediate area of responsibility

Nice to have:

  • Experience with a modern React framework such as Next.js
  • Experience with component libraries or design systems
  • Experience working with APIs and integrating front-end applications with backend services
  • Exposure to CI/CD and cloud-based development environments
  • Experience working in an Agile product engineering environment

We believe the best work happens when we're together, fostering creativity, collaboration, and connection. That's why we’ve adopted a hybrid approach, with teams in the office around four days a week. If you require accommodations or flexibility, please discuss this with the hiring team during the interview process.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
