Detailed Job Description :

The Data Platform Architect will own the architecture, governance and technical roadmap for enterprise data and analytics platforms. The role will work with business, enterprise architecture, security, infrastructure and application teams to convert strategic requirements into scalable, secure and supportable designs.

The candidate will lead architecture and design across Snowflake, Qlik, Tableau, Airflow and related cloud services; define data ingestion, transformation, modelling and access patterns; establish platform guardrails; and guide teams through implementation, testing, release and production support. The architect will also oversee performance, cost, security, resilience, monitoring and automation, and will support adoption of Snowflake Cortex, Stream lit and agent-based analytics where appropriate.

The role requires at least 10 years of relevant experience, including strong hands-on Snowflake and enterprise data-platform expertise, advanced SQL and data modelling, Python and Airflow ,analytics-platform knowledge, and proven ability to lead architecture reviews and operational governance in a regulated environment.

This position is critical to maintaining platform continuity, strengthening architecture governance and enabling reliable delivery of data, reporting and AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Own target architecture, standards and roadmap for Snowflake, Qlik, Tableau, Airflow and supporting data services.

• Lead solution design for ingestion, transformation, data modelling, analytics, platform automation and AI use cases.

• Govern security, access, performance, availability, cost ,backup, recovery and lifecycle controls.

• Provide technical oversight for BAU support, incidents ,problem management, releases and platform upgrades.

• Mentor engineers and administrators, review designs and promote reusable patterns and documentation.

Knowledge and skills (general and technical)

Technical Skills

• Enterprise data-platform architecture and solution governance – Mandatory

• Snowflake architecture, security, performance, cost management and data sharing – Mandatory

• Advanced SQL, dimensional modelling, data warehousing and ETL/ELT patterns – Mandatory

• Python and Apache Airflow for orchestration, automation and operational support – Mandatory

• Qlik and Tableau platform architecture, administration and integration – Mandatory

• Cloud architecture, DevOps, monitoring, security and disaster-recovery practices – Mandatory

• Generative AI, Snowflake Cortex, Stream lit and agent-based analytics – Good to have

Domain Skills

• Investment management or financial-services data – Good to have

• Enterprise data governance, audit and regulatory controls –Mandatory

• IT service management, incident, problem, change and release processes – Mandatory

• Architecture communication, stakeholder management and technical leadership – Mandatory.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science ,Information Technology, Engineering, Data Engineering or a related field.
