Job Summary

Support project management by monitoring daily operations, resolving technical issues, and ensuring construction work complies with contract drawings and safety standards in road construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in monitoring and managing daily project operations to ensure timely progress
  • Identify and raise technical issues to resolve discrepancies between civil engineering drawings and site conditions during project execution
  • Coordinate site activities effectively with sub-contractors to maintain workflow and project timelines
  • Conduct in-progress and joint inspections to verify that construction work complies with contract drawings and project requirements
  • Implement workplace safety programs, procedures, and policies to maintain a safe working environment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Possess a Degree in Civil Engineering Discipline
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in the construction industry
  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience specifically in road construction
  • Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills to facilitate clear information exchange
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and collaborate effectively as a team player
  • Show initiative in identifying and addressing project challenges
