Type: Full-Time / Project-Based

Wage Range: $39.00 – $45.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

About the Role

The Infracon Group of Companies is seeking experienced Pipe Foremen for upcoming and potential municipal infrastructure, civil construction, mining, and utility projects across Western Canada.

We are expecting awards on several municipal infrastructure projects with significant underground utility, pipe, road grading, curb and gutter, and sidewalk components. As a result, we are looking to connect with strong field leaders who can help execute this work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

This role is best suited for a hands-on foreman with strong experience leading underground utility and civil construction crews. The successful candidate will have a solid background in sewer and water installation, storm systems, manhole installs, trenching, shoring, roadworks, grading, and related municipal infrastructure work.

We are looking for a field leader who can coordinate crews, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and day-to-day work activities while maintaining a strong focus on safety, production, quality, and communication. The ideal candidate understands how to plan and execute pipe work in active construction environments and can work closely with superintendents, project managers, surveyors, operators, labourers, inspectors, and client representatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Pipe Foreman who enjoys varied project work and wants to be part of a team delivering important infrastructure projects across Western Canada.

  • Ensure pipe work is completed according to drawings, specifications, grades, and applicable standards
  • Coordinate work around existing utilities, live services, tie-ins, traffic, active equipment, and changing site conditions
  • Identify utility conflicts, grade issues, unsuitable ground, or constructability concerns and communicate them promptly
  • Work closely with excavator operators and pipe crews to ensure safe and efficient trench work

Shoring, Trenching & Excavation Safety

  • Coordinate safe trenching, excavation, and shoring activities in accordance with project and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure trench boxes, shoring systems, sloping, access/egress, spoil piles, and excavation controls are used properly

  • Help ensure work areas are prepared for follow-on activities such as curb, gutter, sidewalk, paving, landscaping, or surface restoration

Safety & Compliance

  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing
