  • Manage and grow assigned accounts through proactive relationship building and consultative selling.
  • Identify, qualify, and nurture sales opportunities while maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Partner with internal sales teams to accelerate opportunities and achieve business objectives.
  • Support end-customer acquisition efforts while expanding engagement within existing accounts.

Strategic Problem Solving & Process Improvement

  • Evaluate business challenges and recommend solutions that improve customer outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and develop new processes that enhance productivity, scalability, and performance.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and sound business judgment when addressing customer, partner, and organizational needs.
  • Apply analytical thinking and data interpretation to support decision-making and business planning.

Solution Enablement

  • Develop expertise across technology solutions, services, and platform capabilities.
  • Educate customers and partners on solution offerings, programs, and business value.
  • Deliver presentations, training sessions, and enablement resources that drive adoption and customer success.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive market dynamics.

Customer & Vendor Relationship Management

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and vendors, providing responsive support and strategic guidance.
  • Develop strong relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with vendors on promotions, programs, product updates, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience through effective communication, ownership, and accountability.

Data Analysis & Business Insights

  • Analyze sales performance, customer engagement metrics, utilization trends, and business results to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Interpret data and market information to make informed recommendations and business decisions.
  • Leverage CRM and reporting tools to manage account activity, pipeline progression, and customer engagement.
  • Present actionable insights that improve adoption, revenue generation, and overall business performance.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement

  • Mentor and support other Business Development Representatives by sharing best practices and knowledge.
  • Serve as a resource for complex customer, vendor, and process-related challenges.
  • Contribute to operational excellence initiatives and continuous improvement efforts across the business.
  • Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, account management, inside sales, customer success, sales enablement, technology sales, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated account ownership experience with responsibility for customer relationships, revenue growth, and business development activities.
  • Experience using CRM platforms to manage accounts, opportunities, sales pipelines, and customer interactions.
  • Proven ability to identify business challenges and implement solutions that improve processes, workflows, or business outcomes.
  • Experience interpreting data, analyzing trends, and using insights to guide decision making and business strategy.
  • Strong consultative selling, prospecting, relationship-building, and customer engagement skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and results orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in technology distribution, SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, software, hardware, or related technology solutions.
  • Experience supporting reseller, channel, vendor, partner, or distribution business models.
  • Knowledge of pipeline management, sales methodologies, customer lifecycle management, and sales enablement programs.
  • Experience presenting business or technology solutions to diverse audiences.
  • Experience training, mentoring, coaching, or leading peers.
  • Advanced proficiency with CRM platforms, reporting tools, and business analytics.
  • Demonstrated success driving process improvements, operational efficiencies, or workflow optimization initiatives.
  • Experience leveraging customer and sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and strategic recommendations.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
