The posting

Our client is a growing professional services firm seeking a Tax Manager to join its Singapore team.

This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced tax professional looking to take on broader responsibilities across Singapore corporate tax compliance, advisory and client management. You will work closely with business owners and senior management, providing practical tax guidance while developing your technical and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Singapore corporate tax compliance and advisory matters for SMEs and growing businesses.
  • Review corporate tax computations, ECI, Form C-S/Form C and other tax filings.
  • Provide practical tax advice on tax planning, restructuring and other corporate tax matters.
  • Handle IRAS queries, audits and tax investigations.
  • Review tax positions and identify potential tax risks and tax optimisation opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, including business owners and senior management.
  • Guide, coach and review the work of junior tax professionals, ensuring accuracy and quality of deliverables.
  • Support the development of additional tax advisory opportunities within the existing client portfolio.
  • Work closely with Corporate Secretarial, Accounting and other professional teams on integrated client matters.
  • Contribute to improvements in tax processes, workflows and the adoption of technology and automation.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy, Taxation or a related discipline.
  • 6–8 years of relevant Singapore corporate tax experience, preferably within an accounting or professional services environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Singapore Corporate Income Tax, ECI, Form C-S/Form C and IRAS regulations.
  • Solid experience in corporate tax compliance, with exposure to tax advisory matters.
  • Exposure to tax planning, corporate restructuring or cross-border tax matters would be an advantage.
  • Experience guiding, mentoring or reviewing the work of junior colleagues.
  • Good client relationship, communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable engaging with clients and business owners.
  • Commercially minded, with an interest in developing broader tax advisory capabilities.
