About the Role
We're looking for a highly analytical and proactive Workday Business Analyst to join our Master HR Data Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in optimising and enhancing our use of the Workday platform, ensuring it delivers maximum value to the business.
Working closely with HR, Finance, IT and business stakeholders, you'll analyse business requirements, develop reporting and dashboards, identify opportunities for process improvement, and support the ongoing evolution of our Workday environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining strong analytical skills with excellent stakeholder management and has a passion for using data to drive better business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain Workday reports, dashboards and calculated fields to meet business needs.
- Develop insightful Power BI dashboards using Workday and other data sources.
- Analyse workforce data and trends to support strategic decision making.
- Produce accurate management information and reporting for HR, Finance and senior leadership.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes, data quality and system adoption.
- Support Workday configuration changes, testing and release activities.
- Work with IT, HR and third-party vendors to troubleshoot issues and implement enhancements.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with governance and security standards.
- Provide user guidance and support on reporting and Workday functionality.
Skills & Experience
We're looking for someone with experience in many of the following:
- Strong experience using Workday HCM, Advanced Workday Reporting experience (Advanced, Matrix, Composite and Dashboards), and Workday Prism experience (desirable).
- Strong Power BI development and data visualisation skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Lookups, formulas and data analysis)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy
