The Patient Recruitment Assistant is responsible for providing patients with information on clinical research studies and verifying their eligibility for various research project.

More specifically, the Patient Recruitment Assistant must:

  • Establishes the first contact with patients from the database or from advertisement ads through inbound and outbound calls, submitted online applications, and email responses;
  • Creates and updates recruited patient files in the organization’s database;
  • Provides information and verifies the eligibility of patients for different research projects
  • Gathers the patient's summary information, schedules screening visit appointments based on availability, and forwards relevant documentation by email, if available;
  • Performs other related tasks;

Employee may be assigned to other responsibilities that do not pertain to their former description, if they have the required experience, are qualified and/or have received adequate training.

Requirements

Education

  • Vocational diploma in a relevant field of study.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a call center or in customer service.
  • Experience in clinical research is an asset;

Skills and knowledge

  • Bilingual French and English (oral and written);
  • Knowledge and competency in Word, Excel and Power Point;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Strong organizational skills.

Work Location

This position is based at our modern and bright clinic in Montreal (3530, Boulevard St-Laurent, H2X 2V1). The workplace is easily accessible by metro (Sherbrooke Station or St-Laurent Station), by bus (several lines) or by car (underground parking available for a daily fee).

Important note: the workplace is a medical clinic. According to the laws in force at the time of posting this posting, wearing a mask is always mandatory.

L'Assistant(e) en recrutement de patients est responsable de fournir aux patients des informations sur les études de recherche clinique et de vérifier leur éligibilité pour différents projets de recherche.

Plus précisément, l'assistant(e) en recrutement de patients doit:

  • Établir le premier contact avec les patients de la base de données ou à partir des annonces publicitaires via des appels entrants et sortants, des candidatures soumises en ligne et des réponses par email;
  • Créer et mettre à jour les dossiers des patients recrutés dans la base de données de l'organisation ;
  • Fournir des informations et vérifier l'éligibilité des patients pour différents projets de recherche;
  • Rassembler les informations résumées des patients, planifier les rendez-vous de visite de sélection en fonction de la disponibilité et envoyer la documentation pertinente par email, si disponible.
  • Effectuer d'autres tâches connexes ;

Profil recherché

Éducation

  • Diplôme d'études collégiales dans un domaine d'études pertinent.

Expérience

  • Expérience en centre d'appels ou en service à la clientèle.
  • Expérience en recherche clinique est considéré comme un atout;

Aptitudes et connaissances

  • Bilingue français et anglais (oral et écrit).
  • Connaissance et compétence en Word, Excel et Power Point.
  • Bonnes compétences interpersonnelles;
  • Solides compétences organisationnelles;
