The posting

Position Summary

Performs diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, including general and cardiac studies and treatments. Uses advanced computer systems to process and present studies in a format ready for interpretation by nuclear medicine physicians.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Program.
  • New Graduates who satisfy Licensing requirements are welcome to apply.
  • Required Licenses/Certifications NMTCB (CNMT), or ARRT (ARRT(N) ) Texas Medical Board-MRT AHA CPR/BLS
  • Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Ability to establish intravenous access Ability to safely handle radiopharmaceuticals Perform injections for Nuclear medicine studies Follow required radiation safety protocols to satisfy Texas Radioactive Materials Licensing Board requirements. Knowledge of EKGs and Stress Test Systems Knowledge of Radiology Information Systems Knowledge of PACS Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record Systems
