IBG (Innovative Beauty Group) is a global one-stop beauty shop. By partnering with our clients as an extension of their teams, we bring beauty visions to life. IBG consists of more than 300 colleagues spread over 13 locations worldwide.

Within IBG Netherlands, we specialize in turnkey solutions, private label and packaging in the Beauty and Home Care industry. Together we are concept builders with global opportunities for well-known retailers and brands from your favorite shopping street. There is a good chance that one of our products is already in your home!

What will you do as a Sales Support intern?

As a Sales Support intern within the commercial sales team (key accounts), you will support our account managers, project managers and sales support colleagues in managing customer accounts, preparing meetings and customer presentations, and coordinating daily sales activities. You will combine accuracy, communication and commercial insight to help us build a streamlined and professional sales process.

For example, you are involved in:

  • Support in managing customer accounts and daily sales projects.
  • Preparation and follow-up of quotations, sample requests and customer presentations.
  • Maintaining and updating CRM data, sales pipeline and customer files.
  • Collecting customer and market information to support the sales process.
  • Follow up on internal actions with NPD, buying, operations and marketing & design to efficiently handle customer questions.
  • Supporting commercial reports, sales analyses and preparing customer meetings.

By doing so, you play an important role in ensuring the continuity and quality of our sales process, ensuring that our customer proposals remain sharp, relevant and timely.

  • Use CRM systems and sales tools to manage and structure customer information.
  • Prepare professional presentations, quotations and reports that tell a clear story.
  • Support account managers and Project Managers in converting customer needs into concrete proposals.

This makes the internship a valuable learning experience if you are interested in combining administration, communication and commercial thinking.

Who are we looking for?

You are a proactive intern who enjoys working in a dynamic, commercial and structured environment.

You recognize yourself in:

  • A proactive, hands-on attitude and an eye for detail.
  • A genuine interest in cosmetics, brands and retail.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
  • Working in a structured and accurate way, with an eye for administration and process optimization.
  • Curious, eager to learn and not afraid to ask questions.
  • Enthusiastic about achieving commercial goals and improving processes together with the team.

A relevant study background (e.g. commercial, business, communication, marketing or similar) is a plus.

Practical details

  • Hours per week: 32 hours.
  • Duration: 4–6 months.
  • Location: IBG Nederland — Amsterdam Sloterdijk (3 minutes walk from the station).

The exact end result of your internship will be determined together with you. It can be focused on content or process, for example: a structured customer overview or dashboard, an optimized sales administration or CRM workflow, a set of improved quotation templates, a customer analysis or another concrete delivery that adds value to our sales process.
