Looking for a flexible opportunity where you can spend your time caring for animals? Join our veterinary team as an As-Needed Kennel Technician! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on animal care and wants to help support a busy hospital when additional coverage is needed.

Make a Difference in the Lives of Our Patients

You'll help keep our hospitalized and boarding pets happy, healthy, and comfortable by:

  • Providing daily care, including feeding, watering, walking, and bathing.
  • Keeping kennels and animal areas clean, organized, and sanitary.
  • Monitoring pets for changes in behavior or signs of illness.
  • Safely handling and restraining animals.
  • Supporting veterinary technicians and medical staff with daily patient care.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Previous animal care experience is required.
  • Comfortable working hands-on with dogs and cats of different sizes and temperaments.
  • Able to stay active throughout the shift, including lifting and moving pets and supplies.
  • Observant and attentive to animal behavior and well-being.
  • Reliable, adaptable, and comfortable stepping in where help is needed.
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and genuine compassion for animals.
  • References, background check, and drug testing are required
