The posting

The Head of Financial Crime Prevention sits within Framm, the dedicated service organisation within Inpay Holding that delivers KYC and AML operations to Inpay A/S, the regulated, licensed entity where Compliance and the MLRO are seated. The role is responsible for leading, stabilising and elevating Framm's KYC and AML delivery - owning the day-to-day people leadership of a 10-person team, and ensuring the function operates with clear priorities, strong execution discipline and appropriate governance against Inpay A/S's regulatory obligations and commercial needs.

As a member of extended leadership team, the Head of Financial Crime Prevention represents the function in cross-organisational forums with Inpay A/S and contributes to broader business planning, without holding executive authority. The role reports directly to the Managing Director.

The role is critical to strengthening operational performance, reducing backlog, improving transparency, and driving KYC & AML service delivery towards a sustainable, scalable operating model as Framm moves into a phase of operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

1. Lead and develop the Financial Crime Prevention team

  • Take full day-to-day people leadership responsibility for a team of 10 across KYC and AML operations within Framm
  • Create structure, clarity and direction in a business-critical, currently under-led area
  • Build trust, accountability and a stronger performance culture within the team
  • Set clear roles, responsibilities and ways of working across KYC and AML
  • Coach, develop and grow team members; own recruitment, onboarding and performance management for the team
  • As a member of Framm's extended leadership team, represent KYC & AML priorities and constraints in leadership discussions and in engagement with Inpay A/S

2. Drive operational execution and excellence

  • Own the transition of the KYC & AML function towards operational excellence: consistent SLAs, KPIs and a clear operating cadence for service delivery to Inpay A/S
  • Establish clear priorities and ensure disciplined follow-through across the team
  • Remove existing backlog and improve turnaround times against agreed service levels
  • Monitor team capacity, workload balancing and case progression
  • Introduce simple but effective rhythms for tracking delivery, surfacing bottlenecks and managing risk, with visibility for Inpay A/S stakeholders

3. Strengthen KYC & AML processes and governance

  • Review and improve KYC and AML workflows, handovers and escalation paths, including CDD/ODD/EDD/EDR and ongoing monitoring
  • Ensure processes are fit for purpose, scalable and aligned with Inpay A/S's regulatory requirements
  • Improve documentation, transparency and management reporting to Inpay A/S
  • Own and maintain the service governance model between Framm and Inpay A/S — including the service agreement/SLAs, escalation paths, and regular service review with Compliance and the MLRO
  • Ensure clear separation of accountability: Framm delivers the operational service; Inpay A/S (Compliance/MLRO) retains regulatory ownership and oversight

4. Support risk management and regulatory readiness

  • Ensure KYC and AML service delivery is conducted in a controlled, risk-aware manner that meets Inpay A/S's regulatory obligations
  • Escalate material issues, bottlenecks and risks to Inpay A/S's Compliance function and the MLRO in a timely and transparent way
  • Work closely with the MLRO and Compliance to translate regulatory requirements into Framm's operational processes, and to provide the MI/reporting needed for their oversight of the outsourced/intra-group service
  • Contribute to strengthening the overall control environment across the Framm–Inpay A/S service relationship

5. Build a sustainable team and operating model

  • Assess current team structure, capabilities and ways of working across KYC and AML within Framm
  • Identify capability gaps, resource needs and development opportunities (including specialist areas such as crypto and complex corporate clients)
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding and capability building for the team
  • Define a target operating model for a more efficient and resilient KYC & AML service, fit for Inpay A/S's regulatory needs and growth

Your profile

We are looking for a strong operational people leader who can combine structure, execution and genuine team leadership in a complex, high-pressure, regulated service-delivery environment.

The ideal candidate:

  • Has solid experience leading people in operations, processes or business-critical teams — not just managing casework
  • Has direct experience leading or senior experience within KYC and/or AML functions in fintech, payments, banking or crypto, particularly with complex corporate clients
  • Has experience operating within an outsourced, intra-group or shared-service delivery model against a regulated client, ideally with exposure to service agreements/SLAs and client oversight processes
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and practical application of CDD/ODD/EDD/EDR and AML controls (transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, escalation/SAR-adjacent processes)
  • Is strong in execution and able to drive progress through others, not around them
  • Brings structure, calmness and clarity to demanding, ambiguous situations
  • Is comfortable operating as part of an extended (non-executive) leadership team — influencing without formal executive authority
  • Is comfortable working across organisational boundaries and managing senior stakeholders on the client side (Compliance, MLRO, Commercial)
  • Has a pragmatic, hands-on approach combined with good judgement

Personal characteristics

  • Strong drive and ownership
  • Structured and disciplined
  • Genuine people leader — motivates, develops and holds the team accountable
  • Clear communicator, trustworthy and credible across organisational lines
  • Resilient and calm under pressure
  • Able to balance control, business needs and team dynamics

You will be working in the dedicated service organisation delivering KYC and AML operations to Inpay A/S, the Copenhagen-based, Finanstilsynet-regulated EMI where Compliance and the MLRO are seated. This role sits at the heart of that relationship — and of several of our shared values:

  • Customer first — every KYC/AML decision balances protecting Inpay A/S with not creating unnecessary friction for real customers.
  • Raise the bar — this role exists to move service delivery from firefighting to a standard of excellence.
  • Accountability — clear ownership of outcomes on Framm's side, and clear delivery against what Inpay A/S needs, with no excuses.
  • Fearless innovation — improving workflows and the operating model within regulatory boundaries, not around them.
  • Action — when there's a bottleneck, this role finds the way through it.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
