What you will do in this role:

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure or establish controls for products and processes related to various technical functions meeting customer and regulatory requirements. Maintains and improves Integer quality systems. Carries out responsibilities with little to no supervision.

Ensure or Establish Controls for Products and Processes

  • Compiles or completes quality records, reports, and/or documentation ensuring GDP (Good Documentation Practices) are applied.
  • Participates in problem solving and provides input for process/product evaluations for continuous improvement.
  • Utilizes equipment and ensures current calibration. May repair, modify and/or maintain equipment.
  • Performs inspections in accordance with authorized specification and applicable quality standards.
  • May make recommendations to existing work instructions to improve quality, clarity, and/or efficiency.
  • Sets up and runs testing according to procedures or Engineering direction. May perform failure analysis and/or troubleshooting.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Expands skill base through on-the-job training, cross training, and classroom instruction.
  • May train personnel in proper techniques to utilize systems, equipment, and processes.
  • Provides support/guidance, data, and analysis to other departments.

Ensure Alignment on the Corporate Strategic Initiatives

  • Continually seeks to drive improvements in product and process quality and identifies and escalates quality non-conformances to assist in achieving company quality objectives and key business metrics.
  • Adheres to Integer Core Beliefs, Safety and Quality requirements and applicable regulations described in the quality management system (QMS).
  • You embed Quality within your daily work life – “I own Quality.” You are a standard bearer for Quality in everything we do at Integer, by assuring adherence to our Quality Management System (QMS), facilitating and/or contributing to corrective and preventive actions, and contributing to the successful attainment of our quality KPI’s and journey to 5 Sigma.

How you will be measured:

  • Live the Integer Values through leading by example.
  • Assist the site in achieving its annual goals for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory.
  • Achieve all Goals and Objectives assigned.

What sets you apart:

  • Minimum Education (preferred): High school graduate or equivalent may be required, associate degree or experience in area of technical expertise may be preferred.
  • Minimum Experience (preferred): 2 years of Integer work experience, or 3 years of related manufacturing industry experience may be required. Associates degree may substitute for years experience.
  • Specialized Knowledge:
  • Understanding of GD&T.
  • Understanding of the ISO9001/ISO13485 quality standards preferred
  • Product knowledge helpful
  • Special Skills:
  • Computer operation skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings/prints.
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions.Experienced with the use of measurement tools/equipment and hand gages to measure physical dimensions on parts (e.g. pin gage, caliper, optical comparator, etc.). Good organizational and communication skills. Detail oriented and organized.

• Compila o completa registros, reportes y/o documentación de calidad asegurando la aplicación de las Buenas Prácticas de Documentación (GDP). • Participa en la resolución de problemas y aporta en evaluaciones de procesos/productos para la mejora continua. • Utiliza equipos y asegura su calibración vigente. Puede reparar, modificar y/o mantener equipos. • Realiza inspecciones conforme a especificaciones autorizadas y estándares de calidad aplicables. • Puede recomendar mejoras a las instrucciones de trabajo existentes para incrementar la calidad, claridad y/o eficiencia. • Configura y ejecuta pruebas según procedimientos o dirección de Ingeniería. Puede realizar análisis de fallas y/o solución de problemas. • Cumple otras funciones asignadas. Crecer en el trabajo y ayudar a otros a tener éxito • Expande su base de habilidades mediante capacitación en el trabajo, entrenamiento cruzado e instrucción en aula. • Puede capacitar al personal en técnicas adecuadas para utilizar sistemas, equipos y procesos. • Proporciona apoyo/guía, datos y análisis a otros departamentos.

Requisitos Educación mínima (preferida): • Se puede requerir diploma de preparatoria o equivalente. Se prefiere grado asociado o experiencia en área técnica. Experiencia mínima (preferida): • 2 años de experiencia en Integer, o 3 años de experiencia relacionada en la industria de manufactura. Conocimientos especializados: • Comprensión de GD&T. • Comprensión de los estándares de calidad ISO9001/ISO13485 (preferida). • Conocimiento de productos (deseable). Habilidades especiales: • Manejo de computadoras. • Capacidad para leer e interpretar planos/dibujos. • Capacidad para leer y comprender instrucciones de trabajo. • Experiencia en el uso de herramientas/equipos de medición y calibradores manuales para medir dimensiones físicas en piezas (ej. calibrador, comparador óptico, etc.). • Buenas habilidades organizacionales y de comunicación. • Atención al detalle y organización.
