Job Details:

Job Description:

Intel is one of the world's leading semiconductor companies, with a legacy of innovation spanning more than five decades. We design and manufacture the foundational technology that powers everything from personal computers and data centers to autonomous vehicles and artificial intelligence systems. At Intel, we believe that the next big thing starts here — and it starts with people like you.

Our Advanced Packaging Technology team in Chandler, Arizona is at the forefront of semiconductor innovation. We develop and manufacture the substrate packaging solutions that sit at the heart of the world's most advanced computing devices. Our team is collaborative, driven, and united by a shared passion for pushing the boundaries of what's possible. We're proud of the work we do — and we're looking for talented individuals to help us do even more.

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our Advanced Packaging Technology team in Chandler, Arizona. In this hands-on role, you'll be directly involved in the production of cutting-edge semiconductor packaging — operating and maintaining advanced manufacturing equipment, driving process improvements, and contributing to a team that's shaping the future of technology.

This is more than a technician role. It's a career with purpose, growth, and the opportunity to work alongside some of the brightest minds in the semiconductor industry.

Shift 7 Information

This role operates on Shift 7: 6:00 AM – 6:18 PM on an alternating weekly schedule:

  • Week A: 3 days (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
  • Week B: 4 days (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday)

This schedule offers extended periods of time off — giving you a work-life balance that's genuinely hard to find in the industry.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on role. You'll occasionally be required to:

  • Lift components up to 25 lbs (1–2 times per shift on average)
  • Work at height using ladders (1–3 times per shift on average)
  • Wear appropriate safety equipment, including an air respirator when required

Full safety training and all necessary equipment will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and Optimize: Run production equipment to the highest standards of quality and efficiency, collecting and analyzing operating data to make real-time adjustments and continuously improve processes
  • Maintain and Troubleshoot: Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and resolve equipment issues, manage spare parts inventory, and ensure uninterrupted production operations
  • Drive Improvement: Lead process improvement initiatives, address and resolve nonstandard production events, and regularly assess the technological health and stability of manufacturing systems
  • Collaborate with Engineering: Work closely with Module Engineering teams to execute experiments, implement equipment configuration changes, and support data collection activities
  • Train and Develop: Serve as a buddy, trainer, and certifier for team members; maintain up-to-date training manuals and ensure all personnel are equipped with current procedures and best practices
  • Champion Safety: Actively participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Team activities, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment for all team members
  • Setup and Calibration: Conduct equipment setup and calibration to ensure optimal tool performance and production consistency

As a Successful Candidate, You Will Bring:

  • Adaptability — You're comfortable navigating tasks of varying complexity and can shift between routine work and complex, nonstandard challenges with ease
  • Curiosity & Initiative — You proactively look for ways to improve processes and aren't afraid to ask questions or try new approaches
  • Collaboration — You thrive in a team environment and communicate openly and respectfully with colleagues at all levels
  • Attention to Detail — You take pride in doing things right the first time and maintain high standards in everything you do
  • Safety Mindset — You genuinely care about the well-being of yourself and your teammates and take safety seriously in everything you do
  • Resilience — You stay calm under pressure, approach problems methodically, and don't give up when things get challenging

If you're passionate about technology, thrive in a hands-on environment, and want to build a meaningful career at one of the world's most innovative companies — we want to hear from you.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
