The posting

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced SEO Manager to own and execute SEO work across our active client portfolio. This is a highly hands-on full time position responsible for turning established search strategy into account-level plans and executing the technical SEO, on-page optimization, local search, link building, content direction, migrations, and reporting required to deliver results.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical SEO expertise with excellent organization, accountability, and communication. You should be comfortable independently managing competing priorities, identifying risks early, and proactively bringing forward recommendations and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

SEO Strategy & Account Management

  • Build and execute account-level SEO roadmaps based on established strategy and methodology.
  • Manage priorities and deliverables across the full portfolio of active SEO accounts.
  • Ensure contracted SEO work is completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Identify scope, capacity, or delivery risks and escalate them proactively.
  • Conduct competitive, keyword, content gap, and opportunity analysis.

Technical & On-Page SEO

  • Perform technical SEO audits and implement recommendations.
  • Manage site architecture, internal linking, URL structures, redirects, crawlability, and indexation.
  • Implement schema markup and structured data.
  • Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals and page performance.
  • Perform routine SEO and configuration work directly within WordPress.
  • Plan and execute website migrations, consolidations, and large-scale URL restructuring.

Local SEO & Link Building

  • Manage Google Business Profile optimization, governance, categories, duplicates, and suspensions.
  • Develop local landing page and location strategies.
  • Identify and evaluate link-building opportunities and placements.
  • Manage anchor text, target URL strategies, citations, and link budgets.
  • Review and quality-check work completed by the local search resource.

Content & Search Visibility

  • Develop SEO-focused content briefs based on search intent.
  • Apply topical clusters and resource hub strategies.
  • Optimize content for traditional search and emerging AI-driven search experiences.
  • Strengthen EEAT signals, authorship, credentials, and entity consistency.
  • Incorporate SEO, AIO, AEO, GEO, and local search into account planning.

Reporting & Client Communication

  • Monitor rankings, organic traffic, conversions, traffic quality, and AI visibility.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and performance data.
  • Turn performance data into actionable recommendations.
  • Participate in recurring client calls and respond to SEO-related questions.
  • Communicate delays, blockers, risks, and performance issues proactively.

Team & Operational Support

  • Manage and develop a part-time local search resource.
  • Delegate responsibilities as capabilities develop.
  • Follow and improve established SEO SOPs, templates, and checklists.
  • Document account-specific processes and technical decisions clearly.
  • Support onboarding of new SEO accounts.
  • Conduct SEO audits and competitive analysis for qualified prospects.

Compensation

Competitive monthly compensation based on experience and role scope.

Monthly compensation ranges from ₱70,000 – ₱90,000, depending on experience and role scope. Final compensation is aligned with the candidate’s experience level.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably within an agency or performance-driven environment.
  • Proven experience owning SEO accounts and deliverables from planning through execution.
  • Experience with law firms or other highly competitive local service industries strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with website migrations, consolidations, or large-scale URL restructuring.
  • Strong WordPress proficiency and ability to make routine SEO changes without developer support.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, schema markup, and structured data.
  • Experience managing or developing at least one other contributor.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, proactive, accountable, and comfortable managing multiple client priorities independently.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Tools & Platforms

Experience with:

  • Semrush
  • Ahrefs and/or Majestic
  • Screaming Frog
  • Google Search Console
  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
  • Google Tag Manager
  • BrightLocal or comparable local SEO platforms
  • WordPress

What Success Looks Like

The successful SEO Manager consistently delivers contracted SEO work on schedule, independently manages day-to-day priorities, and identifies problems before they become missed deadlines. They demonstrate strong technical execution, improve organic and AI search visibility, successfully manage complex migrations and local SEO initiatives, and keep leadership informed of meaningful risks and opportunities.

Above all, this person takes ownership of SEO delivery—staying on top of accounts, priorities, and performance without needing to be repeatedly asked for updates.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
