TITLE: Converting Utility B   POSITION OBJECTIVE: Assists the Operator in producing a good quality product safely and efficiently while performing sonic, hand trim, die cut cleaning, and packaging duties.

Hiring for the 5pm to 3:30am shift Starting at $13.25 per hr. – earn $1.00 more per hour on 5pm to 3:30am with shift differential. Excellent Benefits 10 Paid Holidays Steady and dependable work schedule

  QUALIFICATIONS:

High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Be available for overtime. Complete basic math such as adding, dividing, subtracting, percentages, etc. Must be able to read a ruler to 1/16” Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary. Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

  JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensures that the workplace is safe, professional, and clean by upholding company THM practices. Clean, inspect, and stack the product according to standard or customer requirements. Assists the Operator in the upkeep of the machine and assists in set up for production runs. Assists coworkers as needed to maintain levels of production. Package materials according to Coroplast standards of packaging. Hand trims Laminate Weld boxes Sort material as needed Assist in installation and uninstallation of dies on die cutter workstations. Notify Operator, Lead, or Supervisor of any issues or defects.

  WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

Inside environmental conditions are protected from weather conditions, not necessarily temperature conditions. Subject to hazards such as moving machinery, electrical currents, falling debris, exposure to chemicals, gases, or high heat.

  MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, ELECTRONIC DEVICES & SOFTWARE:

Slitter machines, die cutter machines and laminators. Lite maintenance tools Sonic and hand welders Lite measuring devices (tape measures etc.)

  PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:

Standing, particularly for sustained periods of time. Degree of Lifting: 26-50 lbs.

  VISUAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:

Machine operation, inspection, close assembly. Position requires individuals to differentiate colors, depth and perception.
