Job Overview:

As an Attractions Attendant, you'll be the first and last impression for our guests — a key player in ensuring each visit is smooth, fun, and unforgettable. You'll rotate across ticketing, gift shop, and café areas, offering top-tier customer service while maintaining clean, organized, and inviting spaces. Whether selling Passport passes, helping someone pick the perfect souvenir, or serving up a fresh snack, you’ll make every guest feel welcome.

Key Responsibilities:

🎟️ Ticketing & Admissions

  • Sell Passports and assist with guest check-ins.
  • Provide accurate info on gaming packages, schedules, and pricing.
  • Use our POS to issue, manage, and track sales and reservations.
  • Validate admissions, monitor guest flow, and assist with purchases.

🛍️ Gift Shop / Retail

  • Greet and assist guests with purchases, questions, and product recommendations.
  • Operate POS to process transactions and provide accurate change.
  • Restock, organize, and display merchandise; ensure the inventory is well-maintained.
  • Create visually appealing product displays and keep the shop clean.

☕ Café & Concessions

  • Prepare and serve fresh food and snacks, keeping items properly temperature controlled.
  • Monitor and restock café products, ensuring cleanliness and freshness.
  • Clean counters, equipment, floors, and tables using proper sanitation procedures.
  • Keep popcorn and front food displays appealing and fresh throughout the day.
  • Maintain DHEC compliance and notify the GM of any low stock or issues.
  • Upsell food items and games to enhance the guest experience.

🧼 General Guest Experience

  • Provide outstanding customer service in all interactions.
  • Resolve guest issues or concerns quickly and courteously.
  • Keep all areas clean, stocked, and guest-ready always.
  • Support team members across all departments for smooth operation.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, ticketing, retail, or food service preferred.
  • Friendly, energetic personality with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable handling cash, POS systems, and light food prep.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 6 hours per shift.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 25 lbs. as needed.
  • Flexibility to work days, nights and/or weekends and holidays
  • Team-oriented mindset and strong attention to detail.
  • Guest focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
  • Teamwork is necessary (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
  • Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
