Interim Healthcare of East TN has been providing quality care to the greater East Tennessee area for 20+ years. We are a locally, family owned and operated healthcare agency that specializes in Home Health Visits and Private Duty Nursing. We are looking for a results oriented, driven individual to join our growing team!

As an Intake Specialist with Interim Healthcare you can expect:

What will I do as an Intake Specialist?

  • Receive referrals via fax, telephone, or EMR systems and carry the patient from referral to admission
  • Interact with physicians, case managers, and family members to ensure all required documentation and information is obtained for a successful admission
  • Communicate with marketing team to help promote care/services to prospective patients and referral sources
  • Plan activities and initiate contact in the community to enhance the visibility of the company and generate an increasing customer base

Requirements of an Intake Specialist:

  • Associate Degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare or equivalent experience
  • Minimum One (1) year of working in an office setting as a member of a fast paced team
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills. Must be detail oriented.

The Intake Specialist is an integral part of the team and helps set the stage for the entire Home Health process. We look forward to you joining our team!
