Certified Nursing Assistant
Serving clients throughout Washtenaw County
Full-Time, Part-Time & Per Diem (PRN) | First, Second, and Third shift Opportunities Available
Few roles let you end each day knowing you truly made someone’s life better—this one does. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you become the reason a senior can stay safely in the home they love, preserve their dignity, and receive top-quality, personalized care. From vital signs and daily hygiene assistance to mobility support and genuine companionship, this is skilled, heart-first work where your professional care changes lives one day at a time.
And here’s our promise to you at Interim HealthCare of Ann Arbor: when you come to work with us, we go to work with you. You’ll never feel like just another credential on a schedule. You’ll have a dedicated team behind you, local leadership that knows your name, and a supportive culture built to help you thrive—so nursing care can feel meaningful and rewarding again. This is what real agency support looks like: an office that answers the phone, respects your expertise, has your back, and celebrates the difference you make every single day.
Why You’ll Love Being a CNA With Us
- Competitive pay of $17.00-$17.50 per hour — with weekly pay you can count on
- Flexible scheduling with Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem (PRN) options — build a schedule around your life, your family, and your goals
- 1:1 caregiver-to-client ratio — real, meaningful connections with the people you care for. Not facility based work, we focus on quality over quantity
- Supportive local team — responsive office staff who know your name and have your back
- Professional growth and development — access online training, earn CEUs, and grow your career
What You’ll Do as a CNA
- Provide compassionate, in-home support that helps seniors live safely and independently
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, and companionship
- Support mobility and safety through ambulation assistance, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Promote health and well-being with medication reminders, documenting conditions, and reporting any concerns
- Create meaningful moments through engaging activities like puzzles, reading, and shared hobbies
What We Look for in a CNA
- Minimum of six (6) months of verifiable caregiving experience
- Valid CNA License through the State of Michigan
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- CPR certification
- A compassionate nature, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
