Emergency Room Nurse

in Fort Wayne

Are you an experienced Emergency Room Nurse looking for a change? This 13-week contract may be for you!

As a ER Nurse (RN), you will:

  • Assess, triage, and provide emergency nursing care to patients with acute illnesses or injuries.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to medical emergencies.
  • Educate patients and families.

A few must-haves for ER Nurses:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensed within the state of Indiana
  • 2 years of recent and related experience, as required by the facility
  • Must be able to work independently, yet together as part of a team
  • Must be able to remain calm under pressure
  • Proficient at taking vital signs and administering medication accordingly
  • Active BLS, physical, TB test, and other medical compliance as required by the facility
