My client is a highly regarded boutique wealth management firm seeking an accomplished Chartered Financial Plannerto join its growing advisory team in Lichfield.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced adviser who is passionate about delivering sophisticated financial planning to High-Net-Worth and Ultra-High-Net-Worth individuals, business owners, entrepreneurs and multi-generational families.

The successful individual will play a key role within the business, advising complex clients while working alongside senior leadership to help shape the continued growth of the firm. This position offers genuine long-term progression, with the opportunity to influence the strategic direction of the business and potential future leadership opportunities.

The Opportunity

As a Chartered Financial Planner, you will manage an established portfolio of affluent clients while continuing to develop your own relationships and assets under management.

You'll provide bespoke, holistic financial planning across investment management, retirement planning, inheritance tax mitigation, estate planning, protection, business succession and intergenerational wealth transfer.

Working closely with experienced paraplanners, technical specialists and external professional advisers, you will deliver exceptional client outcomes while maintaining the highest professional and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop long-term relationships with High-Net-Worth and Ultra-High-Net-Worth clients.
  • Deliver holistic financial planning tailored to clients with complex financial affairs.
  • Advise across investments, pensions, retirement planning, estate planning, tax-efficient strategies, trusts and protection.
  • Develop sophisticated planning solutions for business owners, entrepreneurs, senior executives and family groups.
  • Lead client review meetings and present clear, strategic financial recommendations.
  • Produce and oversee high-quality suitability reports and financial planning documentation.
  • Collaborate with accountants, solicitors, tax advisers and discretionary investment managers to deliver integrated advice.
  • Support business development initiatives through referrals, professional introducers and existing client relationships.
  • Ensure all advice fully complies with FCA regulations, Consumer Duty and internal compliance standards.
  • Mentor and support junior advisers where appropriate, contributing to the continued development of the advisory team.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Chartered Financial Planner status (essential).
  • Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent.
  • Significant experience advising High-Net-Worth and Ultra-High-Net-Worth clients.
  • Excellent technical knowledge across pensions, investments, trusts, taxation, estate planning and complex wealth structuring.
  • Proven ability to build trusted, long-term client relationships.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness with a track record of growing client portfolios.
  • A professional, consultative approach with exceptional attention to detail.
  • A commitment to delivering an outstanding client experience.
