Our client is an established international wealth management organisation seeking experienced International Financial Advisers to join its expanding European advisory team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for ambitious advisers based in Portugal, Spain, Cyprus or elsewhere in Europe who are looking to develop their business within a highly supportive international organisation while enjoying the flexibility of remote working.

Unlike many advisory opportunities, this role allows advisers to retain ownership of client relationships and focus on delivering exceptional financial advice while benefiting from comprehensive operational, compliance and business support.

The Opportunity

As an International Financial Adviser, you will be responsible for managing and growing your own portfolio of clients while delivering holistic financial planning solutions tailored to each client's personal and financial objectives.

Working remotely or from one of the client's European locations, you will have the flexibility to build your business while being supported by an experienced international team dedicated to helping advisers succeed.

This opportunity is particularly suited to advisers with an entrepreneurial mindset who want to focus on building lasting client relationships without the burden of excessive administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Deliver holistic financial planning across investments, retirement planning, pensions, wealth preservation, estate planning and protection solutions.
  • Manage and develop an existing portfolio of clients.
  • Generate new business through referrals, networking and professional relationship building.
  • Conduct regular client reviews and provide ongoing financial planning support.
  • Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal specialists and operational teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
  • Contribute to the continued growth of the European advisory business.

Ideal Candidate

Our client is seeking experienced Financial Advisers who are passionate about delivering exceptional client outcomes while continuing to grow their own advisory business.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • A proven track record as an International Financial Adviser, Wealth Manager or Financial Planner.
  • Experience advising affluent, high-net-worth and internationally mobile clients.
  • The ability to transition an existing, transferable client bank and assets under management (AUM), subject to regulatory and contractual obligations.
  • A demonstrable history of building long-term client relationships and generating recurring revenue.
  • Strong business development and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal abilities.
  • A professional, ethical and client-focused approach.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ambition to build long-term value.

Qualifications & Regulatory Requirements

The successful candidate must:

  • Be fully qualified to provide regulated financial advice.
  • Hold the appropriate CySEC and MiFID II compliant qualifications and regulatory permissions, or possess equivalent recognised European qualifications permitting them to advise clients across the relevant jurisdictions.
  • Have a strong understanding of European financial services regulation and compliance.
  • Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to professionalism, integrity and client care.

Candidates with an established client following, transferable assets under management and a strong network of professional relationships will be particularly well suited to this opportunity.
